Texas country singer, Josh Ward released a Facebook post regarding his involvement in an unfortunate boating accident that left him with a broken arm.
According to police, Ward was a passenger aboard a fishing boat when the vessel came into contact with a recreational boat. Three fatalities were confirmed.
“At this moment I ask everyone to keep the victims and the families of the people involved in this tragic accident in your thoughts and prayers,” Ward writes on his Facebook page. “My injuries will heal and my life will continue. Unfortunately, there are others that weren’t as lucky.
The focus needs to be on them. I do not want my involvement in this to take the emphasis off of those that are suffering a great deal more than myself. Please hold your children, family, and friends as close as possible and remember that things can change in one instant. Thank you again for your support.” source
The incident was ruled an accident and no action was taken against either driver. Ward was not operating the boat at the time of the accident.
