Zayn Malik is NOT dead! We repeat! NOT DEAD. And if you were one of the unlucky folks who fell for the hoax on Twitter, then we trust this will come as good news, and maybe even brighten your day up a little.. But before you get to comfy remember, April Fools Day is tomorrow!
A death hoax involving the One Direction singer took off on Monday, leading #RIPZaynMalik to trend worldwide on Twitter and alarming the performer’s millions of fans.
It’s 100 percent false — Malik is alive and well.
The rumor, which comes hours before April Fools Day, was fueled in part by a phony, photoshopped “BBC” story about Malik allegedly being found dead in a hotel room. source
A similar fake BBC story tricked people into believing Lady Gaga died back in 2011.
Let’s face it, these pranks are not all that funny.
