Chanel Warns Guests: All LOOTERS Will Be Prosecuted

Chanel’s latest publicity stunt was a grocery mall type setting with tons of Chanel products stocking the shelves. Surreal indeed. Invited types got a rude awakening after assuming the items were giveaways. And that’s when the fun came to an abrupt end..

Near the conclusion of the event, Chanel announced over a set of loudspeakers,

“All shoplifters are prosecuted upon exiting the Chanel shopping centre, when security guards promptly retrieve all stolen goods from the thieves,” NO JOKE! source

 
The Telegraph backs this report up with a veteran fashion reporter writing,

“Alas, it turned out that only the fruit and vegetables were on offer. We put down our booty, picked up an ‘Aristocrat’ Chanel tangerine, and chewed it over.” Still, better monitor eBay for that lighter fluid Rihanna had just to be safe.
