A magnitude 3.0 earthquake was reported Saturday morning two miles from Hollywood, joining two other quakes In the last 10 days with a magnitude of 3.0 and greater. Seismic activity State wide is on the rise and is affecting areas from down south to all the way up to Northern tip of California. San Simeon California, home to the Hearst Castle, has also felt several sizable quakes within the last few days.

According to the LAtimes, the Hollywood temblor occurred at 10:13 a.m. Pacific time at a depth of 5.0 miles. The epicenter was three miles from Los Angeles, four miles from Glendale, four miles from West Hollywood and 357 miles from Sacramento.

 
Posh Brentwood California has also experienced several quakes within the last week.
