Philip Seymour Hoffman‘s family has released a statement following the actor’s untimely death. The Oscar winner’s death has shocked the world.
“We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Phil and appreciate the outpouring of love and support we have received from everyone,” the statement read. “This is a tragic and sudden loss and we ask that you respect our privacy during this time of grieving. Please keep Phil in your thoughts and prayers.”
The family will not be making any further statements at this time.
Philip is survived by his partner of 15 years Mimi O’Donnell and their three kids – 10-year-old son Cooper Alexander, seven-year-old daughter Tallulah, and five-year-old daughter Willa.
