McDonald’s employees, who often take their meals at the restaurants they work in, were told by McResource, that they ought to stay away from eating too much fast food.. But now that website has been closed!
Before the abrupt closure, the website gave McDonalds employees lots of great advice, like, “eat at Subway!”
Lisa McComb, (yes her real name is McComb,) a spokeswoman for McDonald’s, provided the following statement:
“Portions of this website continue to be taken entirely out of context. This website provides useful information from respected third-parties about many topics, among them health and wellness. It also includes information from experts about healthy eating and making balanced choices. McDonald’s agrees with this advice.
“This is why McDonald’s offers nutrition information and menu options for our customers to make informed choices. We serve a variety of balanced menu choices and have introduced oatmeal, grilled chicken, egg whites and real-fruit smoothies in a range of serving sizes for adults and kids. We remain committed to offering information that helps our customers and our employees make the menu decisions that are right for them.”
