Virginia Democrat state Sen. Creigh Deeds was assaulted at his home Tuesday morning and has suffered serious injuries – his son was reportedly killed!
Sen. Deeds was airlifted from his home in Bath County and transported to UVA Hospital in Charlottesville, while his son is believed deceased.
Law enforcement sources told the Richmond Times Dispatch that Deeds was stabbed and his son, Gus, died from a gunshot wound.
The Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation’s Salem Field Office is investigating, the statement added.
