African Americans, especially women, rank highest in the nation for obesity, but a new report sheds some light on just how high that number really is.. A staggering four out of five African American women today are deemed obese, with the majority of those ranking in at morbidly obese.
In generalities, obesity in the United States is being viewed as an epidemic, but for most African American women, it mega-pandemic..
Being obese increases the risk of many illnesses, which when acquired, will surely be covered by Obamacare.
Type 2 diabetes
High blood pressure
Stroke
Breathing problems
Arthritis
Gallbladder disease
Sleep apnea
Some cancers
And that is the short list, the condition can lead to countless serious health issues.
Sleep apnea is also common among the overweight depriving those of a good night’s sleep which makes the awake body work even harder..
African American women die because of the diseases caused by obesity at a rate WAY higher than any other ethnic group.
In the end, the government loves it when people over-consume, and when they get sick from the over consumption, they can always fall back on their affordable health care.. Perfect, for the money hungry bean counters.. Not so perfect for those falling in the trap.. Hey Jay Z! Write about that!
It’s time to make a change that counts..
