It has probably happened to you before, you need a 9 Volt battery suddenly for a chirping smoke alarm of course, in the middle of the night. Good thing you picked up a few spare batteries for just such an occasion at the local Dollar General store. Well that’s exactly what happened to me, but hopefully, the following won’t happen to you.
This is how I found the 9 V battery that I had purchased at Dollar General only a few short weeks before. To add insult to injury, upon calling customer service I was promptly hung-up on by a lady named Kathy, who was obviously in no mood to commiserate with unlucky me. Even though she had a chance to solve the issue then and there. All of this after I protested calling China, at her suggestion, to solve my battery woes.
