Missing a garden gnome? MI, Grosse Pointe Farms Police are trying to locate the owners of 11 garden statues that were found Saturday morning perched on the steps of the local high school. Gosh, I wonder WHO could have done such a dastardly deed?
The statues were found underneath the front columns of Grosse Pointe South High School. They are believed to have been taken from various homes throughout the Grosse Pointe area. You can see the statues in the above picture. If you recognize one or more of the statues, you can call the Grosse Pointe Farms Public Safety Department at (313) 885-2100 to ask about recovering your property. Officers say they are working to contact officials with Grosse Pointe South in order to obtain any surveillance video. Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact the department.
