Jay Leno is taking a drive in an old-fashioned roadster — with Mitt Romney, seatbelt fastened, riding in the passenger seat.

The former Republican presidential candidate stopped by the set of The Tonight Show for a segment airing Friday. He seems to have enjoyed himself.

“@anndromney and I had a great time on the #TonightShow. Thanks @jayleno for the lift home!,” wrote Romney on Twitter, with the above picture attached.

Leno also teased a less surprising part of Romney’s appearance on the NBC late night program.
“‘I’m not a fan of the President,’ says @MittRomney. Catch the whole interview tonight at 11:35/10:35c on @nbc,” tweeted Leno.
