22-year-old Lauren Kornacki did something that you’d think would only happen in movies.
Kornacki’s Father Alec is sitting in the hospital right now, thanking his lucky stars that his daughter was born to be there in a critical do or die moment.
Alec was working on his BMW in his garage, when the jack slipped and the car fell on top of him. Lauren just happened to be on the way out of the house, when she found her Dad unconscious with the car laying on top of him.
That’s when Lauren moved the heavy car off of her father’s body and gave him professional CPR.
Again, Alec is lucky to have Lauren, as she has been schooled in CPR, which is a requirement to become a Lifeguard. Lauren tells WBRC news outlet that she’s taken ‘a few’ CPR classes since she’s a been a Lifeguard. Even better- Lauren also used to be on her school’s basketball team, so that’s wear her Popeye strength came in for the save.
