Attention: Calling All ‘Cat’ Stage Moms And Dads

If you’ve always dreamt of your cat becoming a star, or haven’t seen enough Internet ‘cat’ videos, like the the one of the now famous cat playing a piano, then you need to go to be involved in this!

Walker Arts Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is hosting a first-ever ‘Internet Cat Film Festival’ which has been put together for cat lovers around the world!

The festival takes place at the Walker Arts Center on August 30, but if you want your cat to star in the screenings and contest, you have to upload the video by July 30, 2012.

The Walker Art site says that the goal of the festival is to get the private cat video makers off the Internet after their upload, and to get them to come to the festival in person. The site says they want to “test the social boundaries of the online community with a live, off-line event as we attempt to gather in physical space and real time to enjoy one of the internet’s most popular phenomena.”
