Huntington Beach, California, — When a single dolphin made his way into a narrow channel near Bolsa Bay in Huntington Beach, rescuers on paddle boards thought they were doing him a favor by trying to coax him back into the harbor, but the dolphin proudly proclaimed, “Hell no, I won’t go!”
After four full days the wayward marine mammal has refused to leave the cool wetlands reserve area and is swimming, eating and carrying on like it’s 1999. “I’ve never seen this type of interaction, he has exhibited no signs of being ill.” say marine experts who are closely monitoring the dolphin. Usually dolphins keep a safe distance from humans however “lil’ Dorsal” (as locals have dubbed him,) is basically acting like a domesticated animal, as domesticated as a dolphin can be.
