The Old ‘Engagement Ring Trick’ Works Every Time

The same old trick, used time and time again throughout history, tricking people into thinking you are ‘something’ that you are really not… I’m talking about the old ‘ring on the ring finger trick’.

People who play this game, are usually women, who have a large group of friends or fans, and like getting tons of attention.

We’ve seen many female celebrities pull this trick on the public. In most cases, the celeb is dating someone, and then the celeb simply puts a nice ring on their finger, wears it to a public event, and then boom- all of the attention goes on the celeb. The celeb gets immediate attention from the media, who is speculating if the celeb is engaged, if they were proposed to, is there a wedding? You see how easy this trick is!?

Miley Cyrus, is the newest celeb who has joined the ‘engagement ring trick club’, as she went to event “Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night XVIII” Saturday night, and wore a nice ring, on her ring finger for everyone to see. The day before that, she was tweeting about how much she like her nail polish, and put up a photo of her and her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth from another event, and she was wearing that ring again.

Cyrus got media and fans to focus in on her ring throughout the weekend, and then, just today, Cyrus comes out with a tweet saying what you would expect, just to multiply the fire. Cyrus tweeted, “I’m not engaged. I’ve worn this same ring on this finger since November! People just wanna find something to talk about! It’s a topaz people!”

As you can see, Cyrus fooled everyone, and then threw it in our face that we were wrong about speculating an engagement with Hemsworth. Not all celebs pull that maneuver, some just wear the possible engagement ring, and don’t say anything ever- at all about it… like Jessica Biel.

Biel has been rumored to be engaged since Christmas, but she nor boyfriend Justin Timberlake have said a word about the rumor. In fact, Biel wasn’t even wearing an engagement ring until a month after the rumor started. Lately, she’s been seen wearing a vintage ring on her ring finger, but no one knows what it’s about! Good one guys! Good one.
