About 10 years ago, Whitney Houston unofficially adopted a son named Nicholas Gordon when he was about 12-years-old. Ever since the Houstons welcomed Gordon into the family years ago, he had been living in the same home with Whitney and her 19-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina. Now that Whitney has passed, he is still living in that same Atlanta home now, but only with Bobbi Kristina, who he is apparently now engaged!
Before Whitney’s death, there were never any reports of Bobbi Kristina and her Brother being ‘closer’ than siblings should be, i.e. holding hands, kissing in public and acting like a couple. Bobbi was calling Nick her ‘big brother’ just back in November 2011, saying in a tweet, that she “loved sleeping with her big brudda” and that “it helped her insomnia”.

Just after Whitney died on February 11, 2012, Bobbi Kristina was left Whitney’s entire inheritance of money and belongings. Bobbi then started making drastic changes, like she announced that she was going to finally change her name to “Kristina Houston” legally, as Whitney did not bless that change while still living. Bobbi then stepped out with a huge diamond ring on her ring finger, just after telling friends and family that her and Brother Nick are a couple. Next thing you know, photos and video come out of Bobbi and Nick holding hands and kissing like a normal couple in broad daylight. The two have gotten really serious awfully fast, at a strange time.
Some people think the relationship is ‘wrong’, like Whitney’s Mother Cissy, who wanted Nick out of Bobbi’s life, has called this relationship is “incestuous”, even though he’s not blood related. Others think that the two are ‘just going through a hard time since Whitney’s death, and they are leaning on one another’s shoulder’. But our source tells us, this relationship announcement has been a long time coming.
“Bobbi Kristina and her adopted Brother have been living under the same roof for years, and surprise- they’ve been hooking up for more than just a month,” says our source who is close to the family. We asked our source, why the two finally decided to come out as couple at this sad time, while people are still mourning Whitney’s death? “Do you think that Whitney would have blessed her daughter dating her Brother? Exactly.” We asked our source if they thought Bobbi was already planning to come out public with the relationship and engagement anyway, despite Whitney’s death? Our source said, “Oh my gawd no- if that kind of news came out publicly before Whitney’s death, that would have been the death of her- I’m not trying to be funny- I just believe the shock value of Bobbi and her Brother would have sent Whitney over the edge.”
After talking to our source, it made us think about the recent Oprah interview with Whitney’s sister-in-law Patricia, where Patricia walked Oprah through the day of Whitney’s death. Patricia told Oprah that Whitney kept trying to phone/text her earlier that day, about ‘something’, but Patricia did not respond to the messages. Patricia, who was Whitney’s closest friend and in-law, seems like a very nice and honest woman, but she didn’t choose to tell Oprah what the urgent phone calls/or text messages from Whitney were about. Patricia also said that she avoided going to Whitney’s hotel room that day, even though she was staying in the same hotel (The Hilton). When Oprah interviewed Bobbi Kristina on that same show, Bobbi mentioned that her and Whitney were holding each other in bed the night before her death, but did not explain to Oprah why they were having such a heart-to-heart conversation.
We can’t help but wonder what the drama was that was going on in the family, just before Whitney’s death? Obviously there was some conversation exchanged between Whitney, Patricia and Bobbi, that had everyone in a strange mood before the pre-Grammy party ensued anyway at the Beverly Hilton, despite Whitney’s dead body still warm in that same hotel.
We all have a lot of questions about Whitney’s death that have not been answered, nor will they be if officials declare the case ‘a suicide’ instead of opening a murder investigation. We’ve seen tons of our stars declared ‘suicide cases’, when really they were murdered, but the crime scene was set-up to look like a suicide.
Back to Bobbi dating her adopted Brother, do you guys think it’s okay to date your “Brother” or “Sister” if they are NOT blood related? Take the Poll and let us know!
