When I heard that people had been protesting for over a month in NYC and I knew nothing about it, I felt like a dummy, then I thought to myself, “where the hell is Fox News and CNN in all this mess?” After all, the protesters could be seen from the windows of the CNN and the Fox office buildings, so why were they not covering it? Disgusted, I concluded that major news outlets had bowed to some sort of government pressure to not cover the story. It took over 700 people getting arrested before the major news even bothered picking it up. It took thousands of folks getting on Twitter and Facebook and making it clear that the protesters were in fact a worthy news story before CNN and Fox bowed to pressure of the people, I like the sound of that, don’t you?
