Sugarland was about to take the stage tonight at the Indiana State Fair at the outdoor grandstand when a big gust of wind and fierce storms hit the stage and it collapsed into the people that were standing in front of it. People were running to get out but there were many going up to help those that were being crushed under the heavy structure of the stage.
Are winds so strong that they can push over a stage structure or was there some malfunction? Lots of questions to be answered.
There are reports that there may be as many as 4 deaths from this accident but people are still being transported to local hospitals in Indianapolis. Prayers go out to all those injured and their families. We’re hoping for the best. Storms have been hitting Indy all evening long when most of the summer has been almost a drought.
