President Barack Obama canceled a speech set to go off Sunday in Brazil at a historic plaza Cinelandia, Rio de Janeiro square.

The embassy gave no reason for the cancellation saying only that the speech would now be delivered in Rio’s Municipal Theatre.
Brazilian security officials have shut off access to the area Obama is to speak since midnight Thursday.
