The law firm asserts that the meat mixture Taco Bell sells does not meet the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s definition of “beef.”
A test conducted by the firm concluded Taco Bell’s meat mixture contains a mere 35 percent beef and the rest is fillers, binders and extenders consisting of mostly water, wheat oats, soy lecithin, maltodrextrin, anti-dusting agent and modified corn starch, yummy.
Taco Bell responded by stating that “Taco Bell prides itself on serving high quality Mexican inspired food with great value. We’re happy that the millions of customers we serve every week agree.” stopping short of denying the law firm’s enumeration of actual “beef” contained in their products.
