Rita Hayworth for Cigarettes
The Centers for Disease Control released a statement saying that in 2009, about half of the popular movies that came out, had smoking in them. 54% of the films that included smoking were PG-13. The prevalence of smoking in movies has actually dropped by half since 2005, which was Hollywood’s biggest cigarette smoking year on record since they started keeping count back in 1991.
CDC hopes to get MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America), to rate movies “R-Rated”, that depict smoking-period! I guess CDC views nudity and smoking on the same level!

I used to enjoy smoking a cigar couple of times a year. When I went to Tacoma, Washington for work, there was an indian smoke shop and they had the lowest prices I have ever seen for cigars. I am talking about Monte Cristo cigars for about ten bucks? If you smoke cigars, you know how much Monte Cristo cigars cost! It was full of low priced cigars and being an indian reservation arrangement with no taxes, the prices were amazing. I was glad I did not live in Tacoma because my mouth would have tasted like an ashtray. I do not smoke cigars anymore for my mouth tasted horrible the next day and my concern over cancer was very real. I would get high as a kite smoking a cigar but never was addicted to them. I do not have an addictive gene for cigars and literally smoked them for fun. I am thankful to not smoke them anymore and saw how much they cost here in Anchorage after the sin taxes were raised. I went into our local smoke shop and looked at the prices and selection and it was sad. I was thankful that I do not smoke anymore but seeing how the high taxes killed that local business was sad. But, cigars kill too so I struggle with high taxes on sin items like cigars and tobacco and ask myself why not tax the crap out of booze? Yea, like that would ever happen?
:~) i often think about taking up the habit, when i see all the hot gurls hanging out on the deck or patio lol
bye now everybody knows that movies is a make believe. lol i hope so lol
