LeBron James has formally left the Cleveland Cavs and signed with the Miami Heat. There was heavy speculation as to where James would actually go after becoming a free agent this year. Many in his home state of Ohio hoped James would stay on with the Cavs, however, James announced on a live TV special he would be joining Dwyane Wade and the Heat.
Many think James made his decision not based solely on salary, more-so to join a team that gave him the greatest chance to beat the world champion Lakers.
