Planetresource.net has a Eco friendly solution to clean up the tragedy British Petroleum has created, please watch the video animation:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60bdQQQ3iVw and pass this along to as many people as you know.
One person can still make a difference in this world, is that simple interactions have a rippling effect. Each time this gets pass along, the hope in cleaning our planet is passed on.
Not to make light of the situation. Because it is a horrible to know what it is doing to the sea life as well as the environment. Not to mention all of the other people that is having negative impact on. I suppose the one good thing if you can call it that, is that this type of oil isn't the heavy crude like the spill of the Exxon Valdez in Alaska. This is a light sweet crude. If it had to happen, at least that can be one positive. Much of the light stuff will evaporate. The big problem is there is just so damn much of it!! I worked in the oil patch many moon ago. I realize the site is in an extremely deep section of the Gulf. Even so, with today’s technological advances, I can't figure out why the toppled rig can't be moved enough to get the well capped. I wish the State Dept. would get a bit more zealous in leaning on BP for a speedier resolution. At least if they would show a bit more interest in the environmental impact I wouldn’t feel like they were more on the side of BP rather than interested in solving the problem at hand.
It is really a big tragedy for the wild life. Only God can save the aquatic creatures living the Gulf of Mexico. Moreover US govt. is making efforts to save the creatures and minimize the adverse effect of this accident on aquatic life.
