La Toya Jackson
La Toya Jackson is claiming that her late brother was murdered for his money. The incendiary comment was made to Britain’s News of the World. Considering the source, it should be taken with a grain of salt.
La Toya told the magazine “I know who did it and I won’t rest until I nail them!” She further claims that it wasn’t one murderer but a larger group conspiring to steal Michael’s fortune.
“Michael was worth well over a billion in music publishing assets and somebody killed him for that. He was worth more dead than alive,” she claims, although his true worth is yet to be determined. She alleges that a group of people separated Michael from his family and wouldn’t allow him to visit. They fed him drugs in hopes of killing him and somehow embezzling his money. She also claims that $2 million has already gone missing.
She has ordered a second, independent autopsy and says the results will surprise people. She states that Michael “had many needle marks on his neck and on his arms, and more about those will emerge in the next few weeks.”
I don’t know what to think about this. Was Michael surrounded by people who put their own interests above his health? Probably. Was his death avoidable? Absolutely. But was this murder? That’s what La Toya says.
