Eminem Responds to ThecounT.com’s Challenge! Jobless GM Workers are to Join Posse!

I never imagined that Eminem would read one of my stories about him, and respond in such a gigantic way. I am humbled by the result of what ‘Superman’ Eminem is doing for his hometown folks in Detroit. What he is doing (keep reading to find out!), is catching fire in the world news! Using his ‘celebrity’ for a good cause…

My story was about “Eminem’s Hometown Detroit on Verge of Devastating GM Move.”
Here’s a short version of my story: “GM has been the blood of Detroit’s economy for over 70 years; the heart of the town. Unfortunately, GM keeps letting their workers go, and even, letting themselves go. GM is on the verge of moving their headquarters out of Detroit, selling off U.S. plants and even renegotiating parts of its restructuring plan with its major union. A move by GM to leave Detroit would represent another blow for the economy of a region already reeling from the bankruptcy of Chrysler and the sharp downturn in auto manufacturing.”

At the end of my story, I then called out Eminem to help Detroit. I recommended that…: “Maybe Eminem could create jobs for people in Detroit and expand his posse.”

Reuters.com just reported Eminem’s big response titled: “Eminem’s new Hollywood posse: Detroit auto workers“

Reuters.com story states: “Rapper Eminem and talk show host Jimmy Kimmel plan to fly 200 of the jobless workers to Hollywood for “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
“The auto workers, many of whom live and work in the Detroit area and are affected by the auto industry crisis, will come to Los Angeles to enjoy a rare talk and musical performance by Eminem,” ABC said in a statement.”

Eminem’s new album “Relapse” drops in 2 days, May 15.
