The American Idol boys sound like they are making the absolute most out of their tour. Winner Kris Allen and runner-up Adam Lambert not only share the stage, they also share music and lyrics.
Kris Allen is trying to juggle a busy tour, and a completion of his first album before this Fall season. Kris admits it’s kind of hard making his very first album, but not to worry, his seasoned AI tour partner Adam Lambert has come to the rescue and is helping Kris!
“Adam will get a song, and he’ll be like, ‘Listen to this,’ and I’ll tell him what I think about it, whether I like it or not. And we were actually doing that last night. … He was listening to some things of mine,” Allen told MTV News. “He had some good things to say, some critiques to say as well. We do that to each other. … We’re just trying to help each other out.”
Time is a virtue for Allen…writing an album on tour is hard. Especially when it’s your ‘first’ album ever…

Green Day The Musical!!!
A stage adaptation of the band’s highly successful American Idiot will be opening the 2009-10 season of the Berkeley Repertory Theater.
Billie Joe Armstrong co-wrote the show’s book with Spring Awakening’s Michael Mayer.
Operating in the same rock opera/concept vein as The Who’s Tommy and Pink Floyd’s The Wall, American Idiot is “a nihilistic coming-of-age story drenched in post-9/11 paranoia” following “disaffected contemporary American Everykid Jesus of Suburbia as he morphs into violent, drug-dealing alter-ego St. Jimmy and falls for anarchist girlfriend Whatsername.”
WOW. I think Mariah Carey should also have her own musical. Wouldn’t that be awesome? (Not at all…not in the slightest). For some reason I give a pass to Green Day. Maybe it can be really creative and unique. They should blow up idiots on the stage hahah. That’ll bring in the crowd!

“It will include all the sordid details of how they got together while Brad was still married to Jennifer Aniston,” said the Nat’l Enquirer. Plus: the shocking secrets behind the miracle twins’ conception and birth.
