“The Cove” Spotlights Japan’s Dolphin Capture and Killing

Following a team of activists, “The Cove” is a documentary that focuses on a sad practice by Japanese fishermen who routinely capture dolphins for theme parks or for food.

Usually blocked by barbed wire blockades, the activists infiltrated the September ritual that occurs in a hidden cove located in Japan.

Battling Japanese Police and the brutal fishermen, the activist uncover the fishermen luring and eventually capturing or killing of over 23,000 dolphins and porpoises every year.

The goal is to shut down this cove permanently, we here at ThecounT.com think that is an idea that MUST become a reality.
