The Arquettes Sign On for “Scream 4″

It’s like someone was listening to my prayers.  Not only is Scream 4 definitely happening but married couple Courteney Cox and David Arquette are officially signed on.   I finally have a movie to look forward to aside from the next Batman film.

Okay, so I’m not really that interested in another Scream flick but it should be fun, right?  Rumors have been circulating about another sequel for some time but now things look like they’re moving.  Arquette told E! Online “We are going to be doing Scream 4.” That sounds like a pretty definitive statement.  Arquette also said that Kevin Williamson, the creator of the series, is currently writing the script.

We know that scream queen Neve Campbell has passed on making another film but maybe seeing all her old friends sign on will change her mind.  Also, Wes Craven is being pursued to hop behind the lens.  We should know more about this film in the coming months.  I can’t say I’m really excited but I can say that I’m interested to see where this goes.  The first Scream film was fun, right?  This isn’t a horrible idea.

Video Janet Jackson Speaks about Brother Michael on BET Awards

Michael Jackson’s sister Janet Jackson attended tonight’s BET Awards along with her father Joe Jackson. Janet speaks to the fans very seriously about Michael’s death.

Janet says:

“My entire family wanted to be here tonight but it was just too painful, so they elected me to speak to all of you. I’m going to keep it very short. To you, Michael is an icon. To us, Michael is family. And he will forever live in all of our hearts. On behalf of my family, and myself, thank you for all of your love. Thank you for all of your support. We miss him so much. Thank you so much.”
