Not to make light of an obviously awful situation, reality star and Twitter freak Tila Tequila was apparently choked and restrained by football player Shawen Merriman. This made me first wonder why she is hanging out with a man in the first place.
Merriman, an outside linebacker for the Sand Diego Chargers, was arrested Sunday after Tequila spent some time at his home. Merriman was released after a few hours behind bars.
The footballer says he was simply trying to keep the Tequila from leaving his residence because she was so toasted and he did not want her to drive, however, Tequila says nothing could be farther from the truth stating she was, “stone cold sober.”
Tila Tequila, 27, has pinned 2 felonies on Merriman, so the seriousness of this situation speaks for itself and if there is any truth to his side of the story, then maybe Merriman should have just let her leave.

Pandemonium! Fans lined up on the outside streets of San Diego on Wednesday night for their chance to see Rob Pattinson and their other favorite Twilight cast members at Comic Con. Kristen Stewart who plays “Bella” in Twilight, is another one of the favorite cast members who is also attending Comic-Con today! Oh lord! I’m dancing and jumping up and down inside!!!

Last night was nothing new for Adam Lambert. He usually wears eyeliner, black nail polish and goes out partying with his BOYfriend. Either he’s doing it in West Hollywood, or here in San Diego in a place called Hillcrest. Blogs are going crazy that Lambert finally “outed” himself by being photographed holding hands with his boyfriend Blake. But any normal person, like myself, knew he was gay a loong time ago. I don’t need any Rolling Stone cover to tell me so.

Don’t shoot the messenger! We are huge Lambert fans here at ThecounT.com, however, when I saw these pictures, I could not help but notice the, how should I say this, “lack” of fan support upon his return to his hometown high school in San Diego, CA. The Mayor did manage to make it, declaring today “Adam Lambert Day.”
It will be interesting to report who shows up to see other American Idol finalists, Danny Gokey of Milwaukee and Kris Allen of Conway, Ark., they also are slated to receive hometown celebrations Friday.

OK Everybody just take a deep breath! I am getting tons of email about this story. Some saying there were over 6000 fans there and some saying there were only a handful. I have now seen a picture with what appears to be a lot of people in a bandstand with Adam rolling by. Now I get more email that the people in that picture are kids that were already in school, so they really would not count as far as “Turnout” goes.
