SAN ANTONIO, TX. (THECOUNT) — Charles Roundtree has been identified as the victim shot dead in a San Antonio police-involved shooting Tuesday night.
“Lil Chop” Roundtree, 18, was shot in an officer-involved shooting overnight on San Antonio’s west side Tuesday. Another unidentified person was also injured and transported to an area hospital, according to San Antonio Police.
According to officials, the incident started after officers responded to a call of an assault in the 200 block of Roberts Street, in San Antonio, TX, just before 1:30 am Wednesday.
“When they arrived there were four people in the house. Those inside began yelling at officers, according to police. One of them reached for a gun at their waistband,” police said. The officer pulled his weapon and shot two people. Continue reading
Brandon Garcia has been identified as the 17-year-old boy struck and killed while crossing a San Antonio roadway Monday night.
Garcia, 17, was crossing Medina Base Rd when he suddenly doubled back and was hit by a passing SUV. He was reportedly dragged several feet during the incident which has been deemed an accident.
Garcia was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Continue reading
San Antonio area man, Frank Gomez, was arrested and charged Friday in the shooting death of Iris Rodriguez.
Iris, 7, was walking down the street with her mother when she was shot in the head. She died Thursday evening after her family took her off life support.
Authorities say a body found on a beach in Matamoros, Mexico, matches the description of Justin Walker, the San Antonio teen who disappeared over spring break.
According to the Cameron County Sheriff Omar Lucio, his office is working with Mexican authorities to positively identify the body through fingerprints.

Bob Bergdahl, Bowe’s bearded father, was accused of stalking and harassment against Idaho twin sisters, Lacey and Allie Hillman.
The twins’ complaint says the embattled dad stole a gnome from their garden, peeped at them while they were in the shower and left creepy notes on their door.
Bergdahl drove by the home of Lacey and Allie ‘several times a day’ over a period of months and left ‘creepy’ notes for them, the sisters allege in police documents.
