Thomas Crawford Arrested In Fort Walton Beach FL Over Murder Of Picayune MS Grandmother “Wouldn’t Let Borrow Car”

FORT WALTON, FL. (THECOUNT) — Picayune, Mississippi man, Thomas Crawford, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, in the murder of his grandmother, 71-year-old, Sharon Lee Crawford.

“Tom” Crawford, 30, is accused of allegedly murdering his grandmother because she refused him access to her vehicle. The pair lived together at a residence on Robert Rd in Picayune, MS.

Detectives say they received a call from medical personnel at a Fort Walton Beach hospital saying a patient in their care made allegations he killed his grandmother because she wouldn’t let him use her car, official said.

Subsequently, a welfare check was performed at the home at which time law enforcement located the body of an elderly woman.

The suspect has been identified as 30-year-old Thomas Crawford, of 118 Robert Rd., Picayune, said Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department Chief Investigator Marc Ogden. Continue reading

MS Man Wanted After Setting GF ON FIRE Leaving Her By Side Of Hwy

Picayune, Mississippi man, Jerry Glenn Willis, is wanted for allegedly dousing his girlfriend with gasoline, setting her on fire and leaving her on the side of Highway 11 in Pearl River County.

According to a news release from the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, 43-year-old Willis is wanted for domestic aggravated assault and kidnapping of his live-in girlfriend, Stacy Mitchell Frank, who was found burned alive.

The 46-year-old victim was found shortly after 11 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8 on Highway 11 in Pearl River County, according to WGNO. She had been doused with gasoline, set afire and left beside the road. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment and then taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center Burn Unit in Jackson. Continue reading
