LAS VEGAS, NV. (THECOUNT) — Jacquelynn Pope, of North Las Vegas, has been identified by Metro Police as the teen pedestrian struck and killed following an east Las Vegas crash Monday evening.
Pope, 18, was killed by a vehicle as she attempted to cross the street outside of a marked crosswalk, authorities say. Officials said she was dragged under the vehicle.
The fatal accident occurred near Nellis and Charleston Boulevards.
She died of multiple blunt force injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Pope’s manner of death was ruled an accident, according to the Clark County Coroner’s office. Continue reading
Willie Nelson fans attending his San Diego concert this weekend became concerned after the singer abruptly ended his show during the first song.
Nelson took the stage singing “Whiskey River,” but almost immediately began violenting coughing. The “On The Road Again” singer appeared to be experiencing breathing difficulties before he was whisked off stage by security.
According to concert attendants, say 84-year-old Nelson exited the stage in the midst of concert opener – and did not return.
Nelson’s publicist told the paper that the icon has either “a bad cold or the flu” and would be returning to Texas to recover.
The representative also confirmed that Nelson would be canceling the remainder of his shows scheduled for January. He was slated to perform in Palm Springs, Las Vegas, and Laughlin, Nevada.
An email explaining the cancellations from Ticketmaster says in part that “[u]nfortunately, due to illness, Willie Nelson’s performance concluded early.” Continue reading
A War Of Roses is developing in the race for the Republican nomination as Donald Trump threatened Tuesday to “expose” something juicy about the wife of fellow candidate Ted Cruz.
Trump tweeted Tuesday saying that he would “spill the beans” on Heidi Cruz. The comments came after Cruz released an ad using photos from Melania Trump‘s photoshoot with GQ.
The problem? Those ads didn’t come from Cruz’s campaign. They were released by the anti-Trump super PAC Make America Awesome, run by Republican strategist Liz Mair. Donald Trump has commented on the terrorist attacks that rocked Brussels Tuesday morning, warning that “this is just the beginning.”
Trump was appearing on Fox News’ “Fox and Friends,” when he made the comments.

Lamar Odom‘s maternal aunt JaNean Mercer has issued a statement saying the former NBA star has been released from the hospital and moved to a new facility.
Mercer said the new facility is for his “transition to the next stage of his miraculous recovery.” She did not mention the name of the new facility Odon will now reside or when he is expected to be released to go home.

Former Soap Star, Nathaniel Marston‘s mother Elizabeth Jackson has announced on Facebook Wednesday that her son had passed away as a result of injuries he suffered in a Reno,Nevada car accident on Oct 30th.
Marston, 40, who starred soap operas One Life to Live and As the World Turns, had been clinging to life after being placed on life support on Oct. 30.
“My beloved and cherished son, Nathaniel Marston, who was putting up the good fight until last night, was not able to continue due to the traumatic and devastating nature of his injuries,” she wrote. Continue reading
Lamar Odom is reportedly in an ICU unit at a Nevada hospital after being found unconscious at Dennis Hof’s Love Ranch South in Pahrump, aka, a brothel.
Odom was found by a working girl, aspirating fluids from his nose and mouth. He was rushed to the hospital and is currently on an assisted breathing device. Sources close to the situation say, Odom is in grave condition. *UPDATES BELOW*
