    Octomom Special BOMBS

Man, Im really getting sick of this photo

Man, I'm really getting sick of this photo

Sorry Octomom, looks like America isn’t too interested in you anymore.

Nadya Suleman’s two hour special, Octomom: The Incredible Unseen Footage, aired on Fox last night and, well, the ratings aren’t too hot.

The show drew in 4.2 million viewers, putting it in fourth place for the time slot. When compared to the advertising and hype Fox was building, this isn’t a strong number.  In fact, the number one show of the time slot, America’s Got Talent, had almost double the viewers.

And it’s not just viewers who didn’t like what they saw, critics tore the special up.  People thought it was exploitative, unnecessary and poorly made.  Will this have any effect on the planned Octomom TV series?  Stay tuned.  Or don’t, like the rest of the country.

    Octomom Insults Kate Gosselin (Again)

    Octomom Attacks!

    Octomom Attacks!

These two just really hate each other.  Octomom Nadya Suleman recently insulted Jon & Kate Plus 8 star Kate Gosselin on her latest special Octomom: The Incredible Unseen Footage. I’m telling you, these two just need to unleash their hordes of children in an all-out war.  That would be epic.

Looking at a magazine filled with photos of Kate, Suleman slammed the reality star for her post-birth tummy tucks.  “She’s doing it to get people to take pictures of her… I feel like it’s cheating [to get a tummy-tuck]. It’s her choice. If she has enough money to fix herself, let her.  I have a better shape, though. I’m sorry, no offense to her.” Yeah, how could she be offended by that?

Suleman later went on to say that she wasn’t as attention seeking as Gosselin.  Of course, because she’s only had one television special as opposed to an entire series.

Judge to Octomom: Don’t Exploit Your Kids!

    Nadya Suleman

    Nadya Suleman

A California judge has ruled that an independent lawyer should oversee the finances of Nadya Suleman’s 14 children to ensure they aren’t being exploited for their mother’s personal gain.  Take that, Suleman!

This is all because of mega-lawyer Gloria Allred, who has been a long time foe of The Octomom.  The petition was filed by former Disney child actor Paul Peterson, with Allred assisting.  They fear that Suleman’s kids will be unfairly treated because of the new reality show planned about their lives.  With the long hours and constant filming, there’s a good chance that the kids will be pushed too hard.  The judge agreed.

I can’t tell if the new reality show will be super entertaining or super awkward and hard to watch.  Hopefully a little of both.

Octomom Doing Reality Show and Gets All 14 Kids Hot Salary

    Yahoo news reports:

    Octomom

    Octomom

“Octuplet mother Nadya Suleman has signed agreements for each of her 14 children to earn $250 a day to star in a reality television show.

The contracts filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court guarantee the children will collectively earn about $250,000 over three years. The contracts require a judge’s approval.

European production company Eyeworks has inked the deal with Suleman. Eyeworks lists “Breaking Bonaduce” and “The Biggest Loser” among its television credits.

The show is slated to begin filming Sept. 1, according to the documents.

The payments outlined in the contracts say Suleman’s kids will collectively earn $125,000 for 36 days of shooting in the first year of production, $75,000 for 21 days in the second year and $50,000 for 14 days in the third year. Any extra shooting days will be compensated at the same rate.

The contract also states that 15 percent of the gross compensation will be deposited by Eyeworks into a “Coogan Trust Account,” as required by California law. The monies can’t be touched until the children turn 18 or become legally emancipated.”

    Octomom’s Son Rushed to Hospital

    Octomom Nadya Suleman

    Octomom Nadya Suleman

Octomom Nadya Suleman’s son Caleb was rushed to the hospital Friday after drinking a chemical from his brother’s make-your-own volcano kit.  The mother and son were taken to St. Jude Medical Center, where doctors determined the little tyke was A-OK.  They both returned home later that day.

Suleman told People magazine about calling the paramedics “I knew it would all get blown out of proportion if I called, but I didn’t want to take any chances.” I’m just curious why she feels the need to tell People about all her choices.  Oh, that’s right, she loves her celebrity status.  Even a personal family accident is worth a buck or two, right?  Silly me, what was I thinking?

The magazine says the residence was a mad house when medical personnel arrived.  Firefighters were posing for pictures as onloookers watched.  What a crazy life this woman lives.

    Agh!

    Agh!

Well, we all saw this coming.

Nadya Suleman, a.k.a Octomom, a.k.a Angelina Jolie wannabe, a.k.a Crazy Woman with 14 children, has landed a reality TV show deal with 3Ball Productions, the folks who brought you “The Biggest Loser” and “Beauty & The Geek”.  The show hasn’t been offered to any networks yet.   According to some reports, most networks don’t feel comfortable with airing a show about Suleman.  Even, TLC, which loves shows about large and dysfunctional families, found her a little too kooky for them.  Click on the previous link to read more.

She’s inked a book deal and now a TV contract so we’re bound to see more of Suleman.  We don’t know what her show will be like but she is apparently excited by the prospect of sharing her story with the world.

Right, because no one has heard her story yet.

Octo-Mom CONFIRMS She Will Exploit Her 14 Kids

nadya Octo Mom CONFIRMS She Will Exploit Her 14 Kids

Octo-mom, or Nadya Suleman, has laid to rest the rumor that we all knew was a reality to Life & Style magazine, she will indeed be on a reality show. The desperate mother said:

”Yes, it is official. I’m going to be doing a show. What I’m doing with this TV show is basically creating documentaries about the lives of my children. It’s going to be an ongoing thing, and it will follow them from now until they are 18. It’s being done by EyeWorks; they’re in the UK. It will air in the UK, and then we’ll see if the US is interested.”

Nadya, I can speak for the US when I say, WE ARE NOT INTERESTED. Obviously nobody cares about you having 14 kids. We don’t want to watch our tax dollars being spent on you. Maybe you should move to the UK while you’re at it.

    Octomom adds:

”The producers will will come here to film six times a year. They’ll come by and take some footage and then they’ll go. They won’t be invading my life or my children’s lives… It will give me the opportunity to have incredible home movies that, believe me, I don’t have the time to make myself. Having this documentary crew allows me to focus on raising my children and still have great movies of them.”
