Josh Dozier Frightening FB Post Weeks Before Strangling Father Doug To Death In Knoxville

Knoxville police has identified, Joshua Dozier, as the Tennessee man accused of murdering his father, Doug Dozier, during an argument.

Police responded to 206 Gayview Drive Saturday after receiving multiple calls reporting an argument occurring at the apartment complex.

Upon arrival at around 10:38 p.m., officers approached the residence and Joshua immediately slammed the door shut. Through a window, officers observed a male lying on the floor not moving.

They entered the apartment and discovered that the male was deceased. Officers discovered another male, Joshua Dozier, armed with a gun inside the apartment, and was immediately detained. Officers found that the suspect, Dozier, was angry when he went to his father’s residence on Gayview Drive to confront him. The father, Douglas Dozier, was killed in the fight, and KPD reports that Douglas Dozier worked for the Knox County Sheriff’s Office. Continue reading

The name of the driver who was shot and killed in Evansville, Indiana, has been released along with the report he tried to tell responding EMS workers his name before taking his last breath.

Vanderburgh County Coroner Steve Lockyear says the victim has been identified as D’Angelo White, of Evansville. He was 28.

Police were called to the home on Washington Avenue around 6 p.m. Monday night because the car White was operating crashed into a porch. The homeowners say the impact felt like an earthquake. Continue reading

Omaha Man Who Killed Wife In 1998 Kills Entire Family In Tuesday Night Horror Triple Homicide

Omaha Police are seeking a man following Tuesday night’s triple homicide. John W. Dalton Jr., 46, is considered armed and dangerous after allegedly killing his father, John Dalton, 70, his mother, Jean Dalton, 65, and his 18-year-old niece, Leonna Dalton-Philip.

Police say, Dalton, Jr. has already served time in prison for murdering his wife in 1998. She was 22 at the time of her death. Dalton, Jr. was reportedly staying with his family over the holidays. Police did not say how the grisly murders were carried out.

Officers were called to a home in the 3900 block of N 37th Street shortly before 8 p.m. to investigate a shooting Tuesday. They found three victims dead at the scene. Police say Dalton should be considered armed and dangerous. He might be driving a Black 2015 GMC Terrain with Nebraska license plate UKB787 or a Red 2007 Chevy Tahoe with Nebraska plate VRD559. HOUSTON POLICE: TX Woman Killed Mom, Took Baby to Cover Up Miscarriage

Baby Shamali Flores, the Texas infant reported missing after her mother was found murdered, has been located unharmed at a Houston apartment complex, police said Thursday.

Houston Police identified, Erica Miranda-Alvarez, as the woman who killed mother, Carolina Flores earlier this week, took 6-week-old baby Flores and fled the scene.

Flores was found fatally stabbed Tuesday afternoon at an apartment complex on Goodson Road in the Greenspoint area of northeast Houston. Miranda-Alvarez, 28, is believed have committed the heinous murder and subsequent kidnapping in an effort to cover up a recent miscarriage.

Police announced Thursday morning Erica Miranda-Alvarez, 28, is charged with capital murder for the death of the little girl’s mother. According to investigators, Miranda-Alvarez knew the victim through the victim’s brother. She allegedly killed the mom and took the baby in an attempt to cover up her own miscarriage, said HPD Chief Art Acevedo. Continue reading

Lamont Freeman Named As NC Man Killed At RAD Skatepark During Blac Youngsta Concert

The Asheville Police Department is investigating multiple incidents at a skatepark over the weekend leading up to the death of Jonquise Lamont Freeman.

A 24-year-old Freeman, of Asheville, NC, was found dead Sunday after his family said his last known location was a concert at the River Arts District Skatepark the night before.

RAD Skatepark posted to Facebook on Saturday saying it would be closing early for a concert by Blac Youngsta.

Jonquise Lamont Freeman was found about 6 p.m. Sunday near the park in the 500 block of Lyman Street by his family members “checking the general area,” police said. He had been reported missing earlier that morning by his father.

Police said there were no obvious injuries to Freeman and an autopsy was scheduled Monday afternoon to determine the cause of death.

Police said the incidents remain under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the Asheville Police Department at 828-252-1110.

FL Mother Lori Farney Killed By Son Adam Who Also Stabbed Sister Autumn In Orange County Home

Adam Farney has been named as the Florida man who stabbed and killed his mother and wounded his sister late Monday at an Orange County home, deputies said.

Farney, 23, faces a charge of first-degree murder in the death of his mother, Lori Farney, 52. He faces an attempted murder charge in the stabbing of his sister, Autumn Farney, 23.

The domestic violence incident was reported at 10:53 p.m. in the 14000 block of Rensselaer Road, north of Lake Pickett Road.

Deputies said they were called to the home and found one woman dead on the back porch and another suffering from stab wounds. Continue reading

Zachary James Zumwalt ID’d As MO Man Shot Dead At Springfield McDonald’s

Zachary James Zumwalt has been named as the victim of a deadly midnight shooting that occurred in the parking lot of the McDonald’s on West Kearney Street, east of Kansas Expressway, in Springfield, Missouri.

Police found Zumwalt, 28, shot inside his car. He was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries while being transported to a hospital.

Sergeant Ryan Russell with the Springfield Police Department said initially calls came in about a possibly intoxicated driver. “When our officers got here they were flagged down by other people in the parking lot saying there had just been a shooting,” Sgt. Russell described. Sgt. Russell said someone in a white-four door car drove south on Johnston, just west of the McDonald’s parking lot, stopped and shot the man. Harrisburg Shooting Victims ID’d: Natasha Harner, 24, and Kaliah Dearing, 16

Harrisburg Police have identified the two victims who were killed Thursday night.

Natasha Harner, 24, and Kaliah Dearing, 16, were deceased of apparent gunshot wounds.

The shooting occurred Thursday evening in the 2200 block of Logan Street, which is near 3rd and Maclay streets.

Officers responded to the home after reports of someone having a heart problem, but when they arrived, they discovered that two individuals were deceased from apparent gunshot wounds. Continue reading
