Mariah Carey is launching her own perfume in September. This is the ad campaign photo for her “Forever” perfume.
The floral scent contains notes of lotus blossom, tuberose, gardenia, exotic woods and white musk. Mariah had this to say about the new product: “Fragrance is so personal and Forever captures that glamorous feeling that I want to share with my fans.”
You will be able to buy her perfume on the Elizabeth Arden website.
I must add that I don’t think this is Mariah’s most flattering angle for photos. Do you think it is?

It’s bad enough that Mariah Carey didn’t give husband Nick Cannon any nookie until he put a ring on it, but now he has to wait a good two years to get her barefoot and pregnant. Cannon is ready to put more money in his bank account, I mean, have a lovely child with his beautiful wife Mariah; but until their marriage is perfect, Nick is living a no glove no love lifestyle with his wife.
He told PEOPLE about his plans to have children saying, “I want to be a father that’s all about love. That’s the main thing to get right and at the end of the day it’s just about smothering my children with love. The same way I do to my wife! We had our first year and enjoyed it. This year for us is about establishing everything and creating a household. So when we do welcome a child, it will be in a very established home”
Aww how sweet Nick. Now I know why Mariah is stalling with getting pregnant, because she’ll have two kids running around her house, “I will probably be the fun dad because I’m silly. I’m always trying to have a good time and always doing funny and stupid stuff.”

Eminem is tough.
If you talk some smack about Nick Cannon’s wife or Kim Kardashian, you will sell 608,000 records in one week. That was at least one of the controversial techniques Eminem used in promoting his new record “Relapse”. The first new release from the multiplatinum rapper in 4 years successfully knocked Green Day out of the top position and cemented his place at the top of the charts. Bad publicity is still publicity and though he may have many critics/haters waiting in the wings for his fall, Mr. Mathers is still able to sell his own brand of teen and/or wife angst to the masses. Kudos to you Slim Shady.

Legendary Fleetwood singer Stevie Nicks teamed up with fashion designer Margi Kent to create a ‘bohemian’ flavored clothing line.
Stevie Nicks has always been known for her bohemian style wearing lace, chiffon, granny boots, velvet jackets and ruffles.
Stevie’s line will be out this Fall 2009.

Stevie Nicks is not releasing a clothing line with Margi Kent. Margi Kent formulated Stevie Nicks’ signature bohemian look starting back in 1977. Margi has designed a lot of clothes with Stevie Nicks as her inspiration. Margi Kent designed Stevie Nicks costumes/clothing for the 2009 Fleetwood Mac tour. Margi Kent has dressed many other celebs such as Meryl Streep, Demi Moore, Mariah Carey, Kim Cattrall, Teri Hatcher, Neil Diamond, Don Henley and George Harrison. Green Day The Musical!!!
A stage adaptation of the band’s highly successful American Idiot will be opening the 2009-10 season of the Berkeley Repertory Theater.
Billie Joe Armstrong co-wrote the show’s book with Spring Awakening’s Michael Mayer.
Operating in the same rock opera/concept vein as The Who’s Tommy and Pink Floyd’s The Wall, American Idiot is “a nihilistic coming-of-age story drenched in post-9/11 paranoia” following “disaffected contemporary American Everykid Jesus of Suburbia as he morphs into violent, drug-dealing alter-ego St. Jimmy and falls for anarchist girlfriend Whatsername.”
WOW. I think Mariah Carey should also have her own musical. Wouldn’t that be awesome? (Not at all…not in the slightest). For some reason I give a pass to Green Day. Maybe it can be really creative and unique. They should blow up idiots on the stage hahah. That’ll bring in the crowd!
