    Jeremy Piven Loves Yoga

Ari Gold, a.k.a. Jeremy Piven, has opened up to Men’s Fitness magazine about yoga, his mercury poisoning incident and, of course, being a fit male.

On yoga: “I loved the way it made me feel. It opens you out and you get great twang. It’s incredible. Ari’s got some quick-twitch anger, and to do that repeatedly you have to come from a place of stillness.  It´s so funny because I´m naturally kind of calm.”

On the mercury poisoning:  “I think it was nature´s way of saying you’ve got to stop.  The feeling I can equate it with is when you’ve slept for an hour but just continue to keep going.”

He says he hasn’t tried fish in nine months because of the diagnosis so we know he’s being careful. And while I made fun of Piven after the diagnosis and subsequent quitting of his play, I’m fairly impressed by this photo.  Piven’s looking tough.

    Adam Lambert coming out?

    Coming out?

    Coming out?

In other news that won’t surprise you at all, American Idol runner up Adam Lambert is supposedly ready to open up about his sexuality.  Page Six reports that Lambert will grace the cover of next month’s Rolling Stone and discuss being gay.  Although most fans of Lambert have been aware of his sexuality, he has never publicly talked about it.

I didn’t watch this season of American Idol but from what I’m told (by my dad), Lambert should have won.  I can’t state an opinion one way or the other but I respect the guy for opening up about his personal life.  More power to him!  I do find it interesting that the runner up of the show will appear on Rolling Stone before the winner.   Perhaps a sign of things to come?

If rumors hold true, we’ll know more when next month’s magazine hits shelves.

Yes, this really did make a headline.

    tyson

Model/Actor Tyson Beckford says that he doesn’t want to model for magazine covers anymore.

WHY? BECAUSE THAT’S AN IDIOT MOVE…

IT TAKES JOBS AWAY FROM MODELS.”
“You have to do a lot of tweaking and airbrushing to get the same from a celebrity that you would get from a model. A lot of celebrities—I’m gonna tell you right now—they’re not 5′11″; they’re not a size 2 to fit into these designer dresses, but the designers want exposure so they’re willing to make the specific dress for that actor or actress to get them to look good on the cover.”

CELEBRITY MAGAZINE COVERS WILL BE ‘OUT’ SOMEDAY
“It’ll all come back around. One day some designer will wake up and say, `You know what? I don’t want to use Gwyneth Paltrow. I want to use Adriana Lima or Gisele. I want to go back to the high fashion.’ I think slowly but surely you’ll see that start happening.”

    DEAR TYSON,
THE REASON WHY ACTORS AND MUSICIANS ARE ON MAGAZINE COVERS IS BECAUSE THEY HAVE TALENT BEHIND THEIR FACE. THEIR NOT ‘JUST A FACE.’ DUH
