A vehicle has hit pedestrians in London and there are “a number of casualties being worked on at the scene,” according to authorities. New reports say the pedestrians were leaving the area after attending services at a Muslim Welfare House Mosque on Seven Sisters Road.
London’s Metropolitan Police said it was called just after midnight to an incident on Seven Sisters Road.
“There has been one person arrested. Inquiries continue. More information will be released when confirmed,” police said in a statement.
Singer Phil Collins has been treated for a severe gash near his eye that required stitches after being rushed to the hospital over taking a fall in his London hotel room.
Reps for the singer said in a statement that concerts planned for London’s Royal Albert Hall Thursday and Friday night have been postponed ironically until fall.
The 66-year-old former Genesis star, who suffers from a gait abnormality after a back operation, tripped over a chair in the middle of the night. He was given stitches for the cut on his head and will be kept under observation for 24 hours. ap

Rumors are swirling on social media that Wikileaks founder Julian Assange may be dead after a raid on his residence at the Embassy in Ecuador.
Assange’s death rumors were prompted by three mysterious tweets emanating from the official WikiLeaks Twitter account. The tweets contained what some are calling a “dead man’s switch,” a unique 64-digit code used to activate an emergency contingency plan.

David Gest, record producer and TV personality who had just appeared in Celebrity Big Brother house in January this year, has been found dead in a London Four Seasons hotel. Gest was also former husband of Liza Minnelli.
Gest, 62, died at the posh hotel located in Canary Wharf today. He was scheduled to play 24 dates across the UK alongside Dina Carroll, Russell Thompkins, Jr. and Freda Payne.
