Last night, we went to a Tony Bennett concert at the Las Vegas Hilton! I love Tony Bennett, but my Grandma loved him even more! I was the youngest person at the concert, but I might have been the most excited. I’m one of those emotional people who get so happy that they cry! I was searching for tissues in the dark! LOL!
Tony Bennett is such a big legend. He is the last player still performing from the era of the Frank Sinatra pack. Tony even mentioned that Frank Sinatra was his best friend in show business. Tony also mentioned that he doesn’t really like today’s music, he still likes to listen and sing music from the good old days. Tony was singing songs from the 1930’s! The old time songs are so interesting to me, they all last about 1 minute! Just when it sounds like the song has started, it’s already over! Hey, it keeps your attention I guess!
My old highlights were past due for a fix… I just wanted to get those brassy strands out and put a new color in! Who would I go to in the Las Vegas area to get my hair revived Hollywood style? None other than Max Maddux.

Max Maddux who is currently over at Cielo Salon and Spa, is a tailored color specialist of 20 years. I sent him the pictures of what I wanted to do with my hair, made the appointment, and I went to Cielo for my appointment.
Max was so confident with what he was going to do with my hair. I knew I didn’t have to worry. He said he looked at the hair color in the pictures I sent him, and he already had the colors picked out.
Max then came back with the mixed colors for my hair. We decided to do 3 colors so my hair would have subtle dimension, rather than it just looking solid dark with no movement.
There is a first time for everything, and it was my first time attending a drag queen extravaganza! The drag-tastic “Divas” show at the Imperial Palace on the Las Vegas Strip was mucho entertaining to say the least.

Staring Joan Rivers’ brother from another mother, Frank Marino, who has been entertaining Las Vegas audiences for over twenty years, his cast of female impersonators not only do a great job impersonating women, they do an unbelievable job impersonating some of the world’s most famous female entertainers in action!
Lady Gaga, Britney, Liza, Beyonce, Diana Ross just to name a few! All dressed to kill and accompanied by some serious choreography, the show’s tempo was fast paced and ultra fun.
How did I end up at “Divas” you may ask? My brother called me up to ‘drag’ me along, he is working with Frank on a reality show that will be sure to knock the pants off America as the show details the ups and down of being a drag queen in sin city.
This exclusive comes from a very good source, ThecounT himself. I have personal knowledge that La Toya Jackson received many boxes of Michael’s belonging delivered to her Las Vegas high-rise Condo!
You may have seen it on the news this week, moving trucks at Michael’s Holmby Hills mansion being loaded with Michaels’ belongings, well now we know where they were headed. It only stands to reason, if La Toya received some of Michael’s belonging that other members of the Jackson family did as well.
No word yet on exactly what was in the boxes but I know as a fact they came directly from Michael’s estate, and get this, the boxes were delivered in limousines! Leave it to Michael to ride in style if after his passing.
It was a monumental moment, converging at Michael Jackson’s newly installed Star at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, on the very day Michael was laid to rest at Forest Lawn, California, all for the purpose of cutting off the golden wristband. Everything thing seemed perfect, that is until, we found that the Star was missing, it had been removed.
As it turns out, the star, which is Brenden Theater’s recreation of a Hollywood Walk Of Fame Star, had now been excavated for being made improperly, too small. And now a hole in the tile floor is all that remains until it can be remade. The Star was installed on Michael’s birthday to much hoopla and only days prior to last night’s wristband cutting ceremony.
Our mission was clear, the golden wristband still had to come off.
Maybe it was a fitting ending, Michael being put to rest in Glendale, Ca., me in Las Vegas, the golden wristband finally removed- and Michael, or at least the representation of Michael- gone, missing…
It’s been 58 days since a Staples Center employee locked the golden wristband on ThecounT’s wrist- granting him entrance to the Michael Jackson Memorial Service. Today Michael is finally getting laid to rest, and ThecounT is finally cutting off his golden wristband! It’s tattered, it’s torn and it’s now more silver than gold, however, the wristband held up amazingly well!
No doubt an emotional moment for ThecounT but he won’t go it alone! Crystal Marven will be joining him! A close friend of Michael and a Joe Jackson recording artist, Crystal is the prefect person to do a little hand holding and ThecounT’s first choice to finally cut the cord!
It’s all going down at Michael Jackson’s Star at 8PM at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Jon Gosselin, the happy father of eight, has joined the Twitter revolution. His username is @jongosselin1 and, since his account is new, he mostly tweets about going to Vegas. Expect future tweets about his children and nagging ex-wife. Maybe we’ll get a lot of sadface emoticons if the divorce doesn’t go well.
His latest tweet: “On the plane, can’t wait to see the kids!!! The sugar factory goodies are on the way, they’ll flip when they see it all.”
We now have literally 24 hour access to the life of Jon Gosselin. Big fight with Kate? We’ll hear about it through Twitter. Leaving the TLC show for greener pastures? We’ll see his tweet before the news breaks. This is a win-win for celebrity gossip fans. Now we never have to be without Jon Gosselin’s pearls of wisdom.
In other Jon Gosselin news, Radar Online is reporting that Jon’s gal pal Hailey Glassman didn’t accompany Jon on his trip to Vegas. It’s not a sign of relationship troubles but rather a promise Jon made to take his mother. Aww.
We love Britney here at ThecounT.com! Having said that, take a listen to this vocal track, isolated from a board-feed when she performed for HBO in Las Vegas. Chances are this guy got fired and this was his way of getting revenge, or maybe his ears fell off and he had to quit. Who cares, here it is.
By the way, I was seated, not in the front row but in a Love Seat located practically on stage for Miss Spears this year and let me tell you, she puts on a fantastic show! And most already know that Brit does the lip sync thing and most are alright with that. It must be hard to dance and chew gum, I mean sing at the same time, Lady Gaga does it with no problems, however, okay, there is no however, Lady Gaga is great.
I will say this, Britney sure does looks marvelous!
That dude that’s the Dad of 8 kids and has a TV show called “Jon and Kate Plus 8″, has crossed over to a sort of celebrity status. Jon Gosselin is currently pictured in almost every rag mag that exists! He is often photographed with new women other than his wife Kate, who he has actually filed for divorce with. He even hangs out with Ed Hardy’s Christian Audigier now. How does he do it?

Jon is doing a good job, because he just got booked for a celebrity hosting gig at Vegas’ “Wet Republic”. Wet Republic is a hip and trendy outdoor, poolside club at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. The party is going to be on August 29. There you can meet him in person, and all your dreams will then come true!

As you can see from our recent posts, we have been very busy all day long in attendance at Michael Jackson’s memorial at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. We have been on a mesmerizing trip for the last week since Michael’s passing. The whole entire time has been surreal and emotional. It’s been a rollercoaster for every one of Michael’s fans around the world. My next few posts will be about each part of the journey to Michael’s memorial.
