Arcadia CA Man Drowns In Lake Havasu Boating Accident PICTURED

Mohave County Sheriff’s Waterways deputies are investigating the death of Gregory James White, aka, Greg White, from Arcadia, CA., who died in a boating accident on Lake Havasu.

According to officials, the incident is being treated as a possible drowning.

According to a statement released Friday, deputies responded around 7 p.m. Thursday to the scene of two women administering CPR on their friend and operator the boat. Apparently, the operator was boating with his girlfriend and another female friend when they decided to stop and turn off the boat in the North Basin. Both women jumped into the water for a swim and they eventually got back onboard. White decided to jump in the water. While White was in the water without a life jacket, the wind kicked up and distanced him from the boat. White started to submerge and a woman jumped off the boat to assist. Both women were able to get White back on the boat and started administering CPR. Continue reading

PICTURED: Redondo Beach Man Killed In Lake Havasu AZ Boating Accident

The Mohave County Sheriff’s Department has identified Bruce Buchanan as the man killed in Saturday night’s fatal boating accident at Lake Havasu, AZ. He died after being transported to the Havasu Regional Medical Center. He was 51. An unidentified woman is still missing.

TheCount.com has learned that a woman identifying herself as “Karen Jones” on Facebook, commented that the missing female is her niece.

TheCount.com has also learned that Buchanan, of Redondo Beach, California, was employed as a Mailhandler for the US Postal Service from October 1994 to present. His last Facebook post, on May 21 at 3:42pm, was to update his profile picture depicting a group of boats docked in a harbor. Continue reading
