LOUISVILLE, KY. (THECOUNT) — Tiffany Tomerlin and Jeffery Logsdon have been identified as the Louisville victims found shot and killed in Bashford Manor neighborhood early Sunday evening.
Tomerlin, 36, and Logsdon, 41, were found shot dead after police responded to the 2100 block of Goldsmith Lane just after 5 p.m. on Oct. 14 on a call of shots fired with multiple victims.
Both victims died from gunshot wounds.
Officer Matt Sanders, a spokesperson for LMPD, said police are not looking for any suspects.
Family members gathered outside the house on Sunday were overwhelmed. They did not want to go on camera, asking for privacy, but they did give some context to what they believe happened. The family says the boyfriend broke into the woman’s house while she was on the phone with her mother. From there, they’re not sure what happened, but it ended with both of them dead. OWENSBORO, KY. (THECOUNT) — Police are at the scene of a police-involved shooting in Owensboro. An Owensboro officer is said to have been shot during the incident.
According to police, it happened shortly before 6 a.m. on Hathaway St.

PERRY COUNTY, KY. (THECOUNT) — Nicole Paine, of Chavies, KY, has been identified as the woman arrested after deputies say she stabbed her grandmother more than a dozen times.
Paine, whose age was not provided, is facing an attempted murder charge in the stabbing of her grandmother Tuesday off Highway 28 near Chavies.
Family members told local press that the victim tried to get away in her car, but had some kind of problem. Instead, she had to run to her neighbor’s house to call 911.
The victim remains at UK Hospital. Her condition was not provided.
“She had stab marks all over her, blood all over her, one whole side of her face was swollen, her eyes were black, there was bruises all over her, scratches, everything,” said Kayla Brown, a family member. Continue reading
KENTON COUNTY, KY. (THECOUNT) — Robert Kasee, the Kentucky man on the run from police after facing rape, sexual battery and assault charges in Cincinnati, has been found dead in the Ohio River in Villa Hills.
Police located the body of Kasee, 34, Wednesday morning in Northern Kentucky.

Oldham County High School teacher, Haley Reed, was arrested Thursday after she admitted to having sex with a KY student on multiple occasions.
Reed, 35, admitted to engaging in sex with a juvenile student approximately eight times between April 1 and June 1. All the incidents occurred on school property, according to Oldham County police.
Reed is charged with multiple accounts of third-degree rape, third-degree sodomy and first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor.

Officials have identified Deshawn Brown as the Louisville man found suffering from a gunshot wound at the intersection of Cecil Ave & W Broadway Louisville, KY., Friday night.
Brown, 30, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Louisville Metro Police say the fatal shooting occurred shortly after 10:30 p.m. Friday while Brown was walking on the street.
LMPD spokesperson Alicia Smiley says when police arrived at the scene, officers found Brown, who had been shot while walking in the area, according to Deputy Coroner Wayne Pryse. Continue reading
The body of missing Frankfort woman, Karen Newman, was found Monday afternoon.
Newman, 55, was found dead in Cave City, according to Barren County Coroner Tim Gibson.

Berea police are asking for the public’s help locating Amber Renae Wagers, a teen who disappeared from school Wednesday, reports CBS Lexington, Kentucky affiliate WKYT-TV.
Police say Wagers, 15, walked out of Berea Community School around 10 a.m. to leave with an unknown person.
Investigators believe she met the person through a social media account. She later messaged a friend saying she was possibly heading to Ohio and to call police. Continue reading
(UPDATE:) Reports have named Phillip Meacham as the Hopkinsville police officer shot and killed in Christian County, Kentucky by a man impersonating an officer.
Hopkinsville Police Officer Meacham was off-duty at the time of the shooting Thursday evening.
Hopkinsville Police officials said the suspect, 35-year-old James Kenneth Decoursey, attempted to pull over a driver. That driver was Meacham. Shortly after Decoursey initiated the fake traffic stop, that’s when he allegedly shot the officer. Officer Meacham was transported to the hospital where he later died. Continue reading
