IDed: 20-Year-Old Ohio Man Accused Of Plowing Into Crowd Of Charlottesville Protesters

James Alex Fields Jr. has been named as the Ohio man accused of driving a car into a crowd of people protesting at a rally in Charlottesville, Va.

Fields, 20, is charged with killing a 32-year-old woman and injuring 19 others, police said late Saturday.

Fields was booked into the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail on one count of second-degree murder, three counts of malicious wounding, and one count of failing to stop at an accident that resulted in a death. Continue reading
