“Megan Fox trudges onto a sound stage on the outskirts of Santa Fe, New Mexico, dressed like a college student: sweats, hiking boots and a puffy jacket, its fur-rimmed hood pulled tight over her head. She would blend in perfectly on campus—the soundstage is inside the theater of a community college—were it not for the words “Patricia Field” scrawled in gold rope along the back of the jacket. And were it not for the fact that Field herself gave Megan Fox the jacket, during the second season of Hope & Faith, the sitcom on which Field served as costume designer and Megan Fox portrayed a sullen, sexy teenager. After the New York–based series was canceled in 2006, the Florida-raised actress hightailed it to Los Angeles, where she has been living ever since. The gold-adorned puffer remains her only winter coat.
Clips from Chris Brown’s forthcoming Larry King interview showed the singer saying he “didn’t remember” beating his ex-girlfriend Rihanna. Well, if he doesn’t remember it’s almost like he didn’t do it, right?
His response caused quite a stir so Brown released this rather long statement to People:
“There have been reports on the Internet that I didn’t remember what happened that night with Rihanna. I want to try and set things straight.
“That 30 seconds of the interview they used of me was taken from a one hour interview during which that same question was asked something like four or five times – and when you look at the entire interview you will see it is not representative of what I said.
“The first four times – or however many times it was – I gave the same answer – which was that I didn’t think it was appropriate for me to talk about what happened that night. I said it was not right for me and it really wasn’t fair to Rihanna. The fifth time – or whatever it was – I just misspoke. I was asked, ‘Do you remember doing it?’ and I said, ‘No.’
Whoa, hold the phone! Is Lady Gaga serious in this interview? When asked what she “looks for in a man” Gaga’s deadpan answer is blunt and to the point! I get the feeling Gaga is toying with us, but then again maybe she is just brutally honest! Time to put on Disco Stick and take a nap!
“Spider-Man” on Broadway? With U2? Yes. Apparently U2 is doing their own stylistic version of a Spider-Man “opera”, and composing the music…
U2 frontman, Bono, explained to a British BBC Radio One station how “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark” will stray slightly from the original Marvel comic story and film adaptations…
Bono talks about what to expect of their version of the Spidey characters: “Our Peter Parker is much more . . . not Kurt Cobain, but a kind of slacker, a more kind of shy sort of guy.”
Bono says they’ve created a new villian of their own: “We’ve got a new girl. “It’s a girl. It’s a very extraordinary role. We’ve taken it to a much more dizzy place than you’d expect. We’ve got big tunes. We’re very proud of it.”
Who will play the character Mary Jane?
Evan Rachel Wood got the role of Mary Jane. “She’s the greatest actor of her generation, she’s the one to watch. She happens to sing like a bird, it’s like a true voice. She’s a very pure spirit and a very bright mind and she brings the part of MJ to life really,” Bono said.
Brad Pitt has been making his way around TV show land of late. Brad is out there promoting his new Quentin Tarantino film “Inglourious Basterds”, but it seems the topic of every interview goes into something other than the movie itself.
It all started with Brad Pitt’s Parade Magazine interview. Brad stated that he and his partner Angelina Jolie were not going to marry until gays have the right to marry, just as straights do. Every other interview after Parade seemed to go into the gay marriage topic rather than talking about his new movie Inglourious Basterds.
No one knows if it was Brad’s main intention to get the word out on gay rights/marriage, but the message is loud and clear. After reading and watching his latest interviews, I don’t even know what his movie is about!
Brad was a brief guest on Bill Maher the other night, and he did not stay for the ‘panel’. Ashton Kutcher came to fill Brad’s spot for the panel, which turned out to be wonderful. Ashton did a great job! It’s not easy to be on the Bill Maher show.

Twilight “New Moon” stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner were at “Comic-Con” in San Diego today. They participated in an interesting press junket at Comic-Con today. They seem so nervous! It’s really cute. Gotta watch these videos!

People asked Nick Lachey his thoughts on his own breakup, along with his thoughts on his ex wife Jessica Simpson’s breakup with Tony Romo. Nick and Jessica are both single at the same time, so People thought they would see if Nick had any feelings about Jessica at all. It’s a ‘Justin and Britney’ thing…we wanna know!
People caught up with Nick at the Caesars Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City…
People asked if there was a Nick and Jessica reunion planned? Lachey insists there is no reunion planned.
“I think it’s fun storytelling, but there’s very little truth to any of it.” “I certainly have heard about her breakup and I wish her the best, as I’ve always done. Aside from that, there really is nothing to say.”
Has Nick talked to Jessica since she broke up with Tony Romo? “I haven’t talked to her in probably two years.” “I wish her happiness. That’s where it pretty much ends.”
