Azhur's Shanty in India
The long awaited new home that rich ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ producers promised, finally came through. Child actor Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail, who has been living in a shanty in Mumbai India for his whole life, finally got a real home. It was only until Azhur’s shanty was bulldozed and photographed around the world, then the government and the film’s producers finally gave him a $50,000, 250-square-foot (23-square-meter) one-bedroom apartment, that will be paid for by a ‘trust’ to Azharuddin when he turns 18, provided when he completes school.
Azhur’s trust overseer/rep Nirja Mattoo was then asked, “what would happen to the property (Azhur’s new apt.) if he does not finish school?” Mattoo declined to comment.
What kind of deal is that? Making Azhur promise to go to finish school, then he can have his trust fund money to pay for the apartment? He doesn’t even have to pay it til’ ten years from now. He can’t get into his trust til’ he’s 18. In ten years, a lot can happen to money and many other things. This story has been majorly sketchy from the beginning. It’s only been a few weeks, and the Indian bulldozers are back to demolish more shanties!
If you didn’t hear, the child star Azharuddin Mohammed of the Oscar winning movie Slumdog Millionaire, got his shanty bulldozed a few weeks ago! There has been a world-wide outrage and protest. Why would a child actor from a million dollar, Oscar winning hit film, be living in a shanty! A shanty is basically a ’shack’. A ’shanty’ is a self built square or roof of basic shelter made of found materials. The kid got it bulldozed along with the rest of the shanty town.
This time when the bulldozers came around, they spared his shanty. But WHY is he still living in a shanty? This has not been resolved? The film didn’t cut him a check yet? This makes the producers look like the most evil trolls to ever live! There must be something we don’t know to this story. Something missing.

The 26 yr old stalker woman, Miranda Tozier-Robbins, recently responded electronically to a series of questions from The Associated Press on Friday, and confirmed her identity in a phone message. She says she ‘wasn’t expecting Spears to be home, but would have tried to sell pictures of the singer if she got any.’
The reason why she was peeping in Britney’s window is because ‘she’s making a paparazzi documentary.’ In this supposed documentary, she ‘wanted to show the efforts paparazzi go through.’
Anddd the reported reason why she chose the lucky Britney was because it “might as well be someone I’m interested in.”
I like her Q&A participation! Stalkin’ for the love of film! But Britney’s ol’ casa in Calabasas needs tighter security! Do the Kardashians live in Brit’s neighborhood too? The girls would have totally posed for pictures if peeping sue was outside of their window!

You learn something new every day! What did we just learn? Carrie Underwood, “American Idol” winner, loves Motley Crue! So much so, she is redoing their version of “Home Sweet Home” for AI. Contestants at the end of their run will hear Carrie serenade them with the sappy Crue hit on their way off the show.
I never thought of a country star, a heavy metal band and animal rights having much in common, however, Carrie has connected the dots by performing a Crue song and donating a portion of the proceeds to the Humane Society.

The Calabasas house is located in the luxurious guard gated community of “The Estates” in “The Oaks.” The house is estimated at 10,3000 square feet in space, sitting on over an acre of land, and is said to offer one of the “finest views” of the city.
