At first I think, “hey it’s flattering to have a stalker”, but then when the stalker keeps coming around your house even on a restraining order, you have to finally draw the line.
“The Hills” star Audrina Patridge has a similar stalker to mine, except Audrina’s stalker draws her pictures and brings them to the door of her home. I love when people draw pictures of me! It’s flattering and sweet! I guess Audrina doesn’t like the dude’s drawings, or maybe the repetitive visits to her home while he’s already on a restraining order bother her.
Audrina called the cops this morning, and had stalker Zachary Loring arrested for coming over and knocking on her door again! Los Angeles Sarge Kyle Kirkman said he arrested Loring for “suspicion of stalking and violating a court order.” Jail records state that Loring is being held on a $150,000 bail.
As I reported to you not long ago, legendary movie company MGM Inc. was drowning in debt and on the verge of bankruptcy.
Tomorrow, MGM will be up for bids to be bought out! Potential players who may buy MGM are Time Warner Inc. and Lions Gate Entertainment Corp.
The eventual winner would gain the right to make new James Bond movies, win half of the rights to the next two “Lord of the Rings” movies based on “The Hobbit” and snatch the studio from a possible bankruptcy filing. Nonbinding bids are due tomorrow, Friday.
After bids come in Friday, financial adviser Moelis & Co. will recommend whether to have a second round of bidding or have MGM attempt to restructure its debt on its own.

We all know MGM… the Lion that growls before the movie starts… yeah, that company. This is very sad news for every movie lover in the world. MGM is the birth and blood of moving motion pictures.
The MGM studio lot was sold years ago to Sony Pictures (wish they kept the org MGM sign!), which still resides over in Culver City. I had the opportunity to work there a few times, one being on “The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons” movie. MGM currently has an office building over in Century City. I’m not aware of any current standing “MGM” named studios, but the company does shoot at the Sony studios. Sony owns part of the MGM brand/name/company now, along with a few other odd companies like Texas Pacific Group, Comcast Corp., DLJ Merchant Banking Partners and Quadrangle Group.
This must mean that the new MGM owners can’t take care of their baby due to their own company failures! We’re calling child protection services!
As Count reported, the plot above Marilyn Monroe is for sale at Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetary! After hearing this, I just had to add to this saga!
Marilyn’s plot was originally bought by Marilyn’s ex husband and NY Yankees Baseball legend Joe DiMaggio, who sold it to a woman named Elsie Poncher, after divorcing from Monroe in 1954.
Yes, DiMaggio did not want to be resting above Marilyn’s plot after they divorced! Was he that mad at the time? He sold his own plot to be away from Marilyn? Elsie Poncher’s deceased husband has been resting above Marilyn for years. He will now be moving elsewhere, and in return, Elsie will be getting Millions.
Did you know that Hugh Hefner owns the plot next to Marilyn? Hugh bought the plot next to Marilyn in 1992 for $75,000. Throughout the years, there have been reports that Hugh actually wanted to be above Marilyn’s plot, but the space had been taken by Elsie Poncher’s husband. One rumor I heard was that Hugh wanted to be buried/resting above Marilyn, lying face down. I think that rumor was mixed up with Elsie Poncher’s husband who did in fact get buried/laid to rest face down above Marilyn’s plot!
Actress from “My Name is Earl” Jaime Pressly, was caught peeing at The Abbey in West Hollywood! Well, we aren’t sure…
Jaime Pressly tweeted on her Twitter page that she was NOT really peeing on the street in daylight. She wrote: “Yes….that is me doing dare #8 at my bridal shower..Things are not always what they seem..Notice my hand in the back..its pouring a bottle of water!!! C’mon guys! Do you think i would really pee in the entry way of the Abbey in broad DAYLIGHT!!!”

At the Hollywood red carpet premiere of Brad Pitt’s new film Inglourious Basterds, he was interviewed by CNN and asked about his gay marriage statement in Parade Magazine. Brad told Parade Magazine that he and Angelina Jolie decided that they weren’t going to get married until gay marriage is legal. CNN tried to dive deeper into the subject of gay marriage with Brad, but he refused to go overly in depth with the interview. At the end of the interview, Brad called upon Barbara Walters to ‘ask him more about the subject of gay marriage’!
Is this an invitation for a one-on-one with Barbara and Brad? I don’t think Brad wants to deal with any media other than the one we can trust-Barb! Cuban writers and artists gave an award to Benicio del Toro, star of the 2008 movie “Che,” and the geographical location of the ceremony did not detour many of Hollywood’s biggest stars from attending.
Bill Murray, Robert Duvall and James Caan, among others, showed up Havana, Cuba, to support their fellow actor, del Toro.
During the Bush administration a visit like this to Cuba would have been almost undoable, however, since Obama has been in office, the ice seems to be thawing. President Obama has lifted travel restrictions and restored immigration talks with Cuba that Bush had buried.
Other celebrities in attendance avoided the press like a plague even tough it seemed like a great opportunity to speak out on the beauty of the beginning of a new era in Cuban, American relations.
Over the weekend, ThecounT.com attended the LA International Short Film Festival in Hollywood. We were there supporting our dear friend Bethany Bassler, who starred in the film “Commited.”
After exiting the festival it was off to dinner at “Sushi Dan” which is located on the same floor as the festival. While seated in the outdoor dining area, we noticed people forming a line, starting with a sign that read, “The Room”. Throughout dinner, we noticed the line multiplying like crazy! By the time we were finished eating, the line was wrapped full circle around the complex.
Suddenly, a man jumped up on a riser outside the theater and yelled, “5, 4, 3, 2…”! The crowd roared with excitement! The Count’s jaw dropped as if he’d seen a UFO, then a light bulb went off, “Oh my gosh! That’s the guy! That’s ‘Lisa! You’re tearing me apart!’ the guy from the movie!” Then it hit me, it was Tommy Wiseau, the star of the cult film “The Room”!
