Hackers broke into Britney Spears and Ellen DeGeneres’s Twitpic accounts over the weekend, spreading false information about the stars. The hackers even went so far to claim that Britney had passed away. The fake message read “Britney has passed today. It is a sad day for everyone. More news to come.”
Twitpic is looking into who did the hacking and how they can prevent future issues. They had to temporarily shut down the entire website for a brief time over the weekend to fix the problems caused by hackers.
Twitpic is a website that allows Twitter users to post pictures. Apparently the hackers were able to get into the system because of a “vulnerability” in the system.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi are a popular couple in the gay community. But those admirers better not be wishing for an Ellen Jr. because the happy newlyweds don’t plan to have any children. The daytime funny woman Ellen, told AOL’s Inside/TV, “I don’t think we’re going to have kids. We have animals, and we love them. They don’t talk back, and they don’t explore their vocal chords out in public.”
Did Ellen just compare kids to animals? Of course Ellen or Portia would need another object to have children…a penis! If either of them really wanted children in their lives then they wouldn’t be gay. What do you think, they were born that way.

Slashdot.org reports that ‘Carnegie Institute for Science’ scientists say that using ‘Bioelectricity’ (battery powered) is a better bet than using ‘Ethanol’ (farm corn and switchgrass cellulose) to power cars in the long run. When the scientists compared which of the two energies lasted longer in driving distance, Bioelectricity lasts 80% longer than Ethanol.
Biofuels such as Ethanol offer an alternative to petroleum for powering our cars, but growing energy crops to produce them can compete with food crops for farmland, and clearing forests to expand farmland will aggravate the climate change problem.
Bioelectricity is said to also double the greenhouse gas offsets to mitigate (less harsh) climate change.
Soon enough we’ll all be driving affordable battery powered micro cars. Plug N Go! Zoom!

Ryan Seacrest had Larry King Live on this morning discussing Ashton’s triumph over CNN. He now has 1 million followers and beat out the power house entertainment corporation- which Larry King cannot believe actually happened but therefore proves the power of one lonely man. Err..he’s not so lonely. As Larry put it, “he’s got a nice piece of ___ at home”. Ashton will be on Larry King Live tonight- so check that out. Supposedly Ashton is going to “ding dong ditch” Ted Turner in Atlanta. That should be fun-barring the fact Ted actually opens his own door.
For the past few days, he’d been locked in a race with CNN’s breaking news feed — (@cnnbrk), but just before midnight Thursday he became the first “Twitter millionare.” Around 1:30 he tweeted, “Victory is ours!!!!!!!!” and posted a twitpic of the win.
Kutcher says he’s donating 10,000 mosquito nets to the medical charity Malaria No More to celebrate, and the video-game publisher Electronic Arts says the millionth follower will become a character in “The Sims.” Plus, there’s the promised ding-dong-ditch of Ted Turner’s Atlanta home to look forward to!

Ashton is betting that he reaches 1 million twitter followers before CNN does. Ellen Degeneres announces on her show her overwhelming desire to BEAT everyone and get 1 million viewers. Who do you think will win? I think Ellen’s getting up there. She’s got 771 k so far.
The 31-year-old actor recently threw down the gauntlet, challenging CNN and its founder, Ted Turner. In a Web video posted earlier this week, Kutcher said he would ding-dong-ditch Turner’s house if he beat CNN to 1 million. (For those unfamiliar with the classic adolescent prank, ding-dong-ditch is when you ring someone’s doorbell and run away.)
“I find it astonishing that one person can actually have as big of a voice online as what an entire media company can on Twitter,” Kutcher said in a video he posted on qik.com. “I just thought that was kind of an amazing comment on the state of our media.”

Plus, Diddy added that he believes it’s positive for “two people to sit down and talk about a situation they’re in.”
He also cautions to be wary of jumping to conclusions, saying, “We don’t know exactly what’s going on. There are two young individuals [involved]. We need to pray for them.”
But, he told DeGeneres, “I don’t think it’s right for anybody to hit anybody.”

People can’t get enough of George Clooney!!! He was all the rage just this Monday with his big appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Ellen had planned out her “Clooney is Mine in 09′!” capture on the Warner Bros. lot, and caught him!
George is back on the Warner Bros. lot today and tomorrow to do some filming for the show that made him famous: ER! Yes, he will be back on the NBC show “ER” playing Dr. Doug Ross. NBC could sure use the ratings! Is Clooney stepping out of the movies for a while and going back to TV? Is TV more profitable for Clooney than movies?
No sign of him on the Ellen show today, but maybe he’ll take a break from filming ER and make a little appearance again tomorrow??

On the Ellen DeGeneres show, she has a running joke about ‘getting George Clooney on her show’. She has been trying for so long to get him to come on her show; Ellen’s even asked Clooney’s friends such as Brad Pitt, how to persuade Clooney onto the show! Well, it looks like Ellen FINALLY has a plan to catch the hard to get this “A” list actor on her show this Monday. She sent out a newsletter on her website that states her plan of action to capture Clooney! “George Clooney is mine in 09′!” This is her newsletter she put out on her website Ellendegeneres.com:
