Saturday night, March 13rd, Lady Gaga was doing a concert in Auckland, New Zealand. This video shows her performing her final song “Bad Romance”, and she nearly passes out! She lays on the stage the majority of the song, and when she stands up, she almost falls back down like she’s out of it. It looks like she isn’t able to sing either. I hope she’s okay. Watch this shocking video!
Last night, we went to a Tony Bennett concert at the Las Vegas Hilton! I love Tony Bennett, but my Grandma loved him even more! I was the youngest person at the concert, but I might have been the most excited. I’m one of those emotional people who get so happy that they cry! I was searching for tissues in the dark! LOL!
Tony Bennett is such a big legend. He is the last player still performing from the era of the Frank Sinatra pack. Tony even mentioned that Frank Sinatra was his best friend in show business. Tony also mentioned that he doesn’t really like today’s music, he still likes to listen and sing music from the good old days. Tony was singing songs from the 1930’s! The old time songs are so interesting to me, they all last about 1 minute! Just when it sounds like the song has started, it’s already over! Hey, it keeps your attention I guess!
Lady Gaga was reported to have collapsed just before her show in Purdue, Indiana yesterday. Some reports said Lady Gaga suffered from dehydration and exhaustion, and it finally caught up to her physically. I would have to agree that she must be exhausted from a whole year packed full of performing, recording records, shooting videos…you’ve seen her go go go non-stop!
Well, the show in Purdue had to stop last night and Gaga rescheduled Purdue for Jan. 28.
Today, Lady Gaga was all fine and dandy on Oprah! Reports said she seemed like everything was normal! She performed a medley of her songs and did all the dances too. We hope she was feeling okay under that flashy-fun costume! I mean, who is going to ask Lady Gaga ‘what her problem was last night?’ “Hey LG, why’d you collapse last night?”
We love LG! We’ve been with her from the very start! You’re a strong b*tch! Kisses LG!
Leave it to the good people of Australia to come up with a way to advise people thinking about attending a Britney Spears’ concert that not all parts of the show are performed live… print it on the ticket!
Thanks right! Seems Aussies are not familiar with a well known fact that Spears Lip-Syncs a majority of her Circus concert and they want a disclaimer printed right on the ticket!
Spears spoke out to the controversy surrounding one concert in Australia where fans are said to have reportedly walked out of the Circus concert after realizing the fix was in.
Spears, 27, although not directly addressing the lip-syncing issue did state, “Some reporters have said they love it and some don’t. I came to Australia for my fans!” Which translates in to, “Look Aussies, I’m in your country as a favor to the people to adore me and if you don’t like my show you can lump it.”
In a far off place…Warsaw, Poland, our beloved American Pop star Madonna is not wanted there. Warsaw claims that Madonna’s past performances are overly controversial in the ‘religion’ department. Madonna has a track record of doing things a little bit differently like kissing an actor playing Jesus in one of her videos and staging a crucifixion scene in her last world tour. In some other countries, these kind of antics are taken TOO seriously, just like Sacha Baron Cohen’s “Borat” and “Bruno” movies. Some uptight countries simply just can’t handle our entertainment.
This year, Madonna has planned a visit once again to the town that utterly adores her! Not really. Reuters reports that “Madonna has upset some believers in devoutly Roman Catholic Poland by timing her Polish debut concert [in Warsaw] to coincide with the day when Christians mark the Virgin Mary’s ascension to heaven.”
Okay, so the town ‘Warsaw’ doesn’t want her, but the town “Rumin” does! As a matter of fact, people are praying for Madonna to stop there for her tour!
In a recent interview, Katy Perry expresses that she wants her own concerts to be like Britney Spears’ concerts.
For now, Katy’s gotta keep her shows simple, due to a smaller budget.
Katy says, “I really want to see (Britney’s) show. I hear it’s supposed to be amazing and I love those big production shows, but I haven’t been able to get to that point yet. I’m on my first record. I don’t have millions of dollars to do shows like that just yet.”
“I love how she uses all the dancers and all the theatrics.”
Yay! Pink and Carey Hart are back together! After their separation in February of last year, they have now finally reconciled and joined hands.
Carey has joined Pink for her Australian Tour, while he is also performing for a motocross event himself. They will be together for 3 months down under.
Australian Herald Sun reported: “Pink and Hart gave a public display of affection yesterday, kissing outside Rod Laver Arena as the motocross star treated fans to a sample of his high-flying two-wheel feats.”
Carey told the Australian Herald Sun: “We have nothing planned while we’re here,” he said when asked about the couple renewing their vows. We’re definitely back together and moving forward. All the little stuff will sort itself out. The main goal is to be together on tour and right now that’s what we’re doing.”
What is with artists collapsing at their own concert? Wild Thing Rapper Tone Loc collapsed earlier today during his concert at ‘Capt’n Fun Beach Club’ in Pensacola Florida. According to Loc’s manager, Bobby Bessone, ‘flight delays and heat contributed to the collapse’.
Upi.com reports more: “The 43-year-old rapper was heard complaining about the heat and humidity in Pensacola Beach moments before he crumpled on stage, slashing open his elbow as he fell, the entertainment news Web site [TMZ] said.”
Why did Loc do a concert in the morning? Was it a breakfast concert or what?
Gwen Stefani’s eldest son Kingston turned 3 years old today. The dangerously adorable first son of pop rocker Gwen ushered in his 3rd birthday, midnight at a No Doubt show in Salt Lake City, Utah, in the arms of his mama. The sold out crowd sang happy birthday to young Kingston as he cooed excitedly. No word yet on the gift front, I figure Kingston can expect a 24 karat gold big wheel or a diamond studded Kermit the Frog t-shirt.
