EVANGELINE PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — The teenager from St. Landry Parish killed following a two-vehicle crash last night in Evangeline Parish, has been identified as, 18-year-old McKenzie Dupre.
Dupre, from the Town of Washington, was driving her car through the intersection of LA-104 and Beacon Road, in Evangeline Parish, when she was hit by a Ford F-150 truck.

LIBBY, MT. (THECOUNT) — Taylor Alford, of Missoula, MT, has been identified as the man killed follow a high-speed police pursuit that ended in a fiery crash in Libby Thursday.
Alford, 31, was named as the suspect who died when his vehicle crashed and caught fire following a law enforcement pursuit on Idaho Avenue in Libby.
At one point, the vehicle he was driving reached speeds of 100 mph in a 25 mph speed zone near Rosauer’s, according to a Friday news release from the Montana Highway Patrol. The chase ended at 5:07 p.m. when the vehicle struck an overhead traffic light post at the intersection of Highway 2 and Idaho Avenue in Libby and burst into flames, according to the Highway Patrol. BURLINGTON CITY, NJ. (THECOUNT) — The two Burlington victims in a violent crash on Route 130 have been identified as Maryann Mullica, 69, and 78-year-old, Evelyn Miller.
Mullica and Miller where traveling in a vehicle driven by 55-year-old Lisa Burdett, of Pennsauken, when the double-fatal crash occurred near Columbus Road and US-131, in Burlington City Tuesday afternoon.
Mullica was transported from the scene to Lourdes Medical Center, Willingboro Campus, and was pronounced dead a short time later.
Miller was transported from the scene to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, Helene Fuld Campus, and died the next morning.
Burdett was also transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, Helene Fuld Campus, and was in stable condition Thursday afternoon.
The driver of the dump truck, who has not been identified by police, was not injured, remained on the scene, and was cooperative with investigators, police said. No one has been charged in connection with the accident as of Thursday. Continue reading
WALTON, KY. (THECOUNT) — David Harris Jr., of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, has died one day after being involved in a fiery Northern Kentucky vehicle crash.
Harris, 51, died in an area hospital Thursday following the Wednesday night crash, the Hamilton County Coroner confirmed.
The 51-year-old was the lone occupant of a car that drove off of northbound Interstate 75 in Walton, crashing into the underside of an overpass. Harris was trapped inside of the vehicle for some time as it caught fire. Officials from four police agencies – and one passerby – attempted to free Harris from the fiery wreckage. Continue reading
A serious Nye County crash has left five people dead, authorities said.
Nye County is located about 90 minutes northwest of the Las Vegas Valley.
The Nye County Sheriff’s Office said they were assisting Nevada Highway Patrol in the Sunday afternoon crash.
The office confirmed five people were killed and another person injured.
One Nissan burst in flames and the victims were burned beyond recognition. Police said a positive id of the victims would be delayed due to the extensive fire damage. Continue reading
Wilbert Hawkins has been identified by Longview, TX., police as the man who died in a crash Saturday night.
According to police, Hawkins, 58, died after being hit by a car in the 3900 block of West Loop 281.
According to reports, Hawkins got out of his car after it stopped working in the inside lane of westbound West Loop 281. Several cars stopped to prevent from hitting Hawkins’ car. A 2015 Nissan Titan, driven by Julio Martinez, 38, of Longview, moved into the turning lane of westbound traffic to avoid striking the stopped car. Continue reading
Houston man Elmer Quintanilla has been named as the Texas father charged with murder and DWI Monday after causing a crash that left one man dead Sunday, the Harris County sheriff’s office said.
Deputies were called just after 1 p.m. to the northbound feeder of West Road and Beltway 8 to a report of Quintanilla, 26, driving a pickup truck erratically with his wife and three young children, ages 1, 5 and 6 years old.
Quintanilla was traveling at a high rate of speed in a 2013 GMC Sierra pickup truck when he tried to exit the West Road Toll Plaza, instead losing control and rear-ending a late model Acura. Continue reading
