NY Father Found Brain Dead After Pummeled In Front Of Bronx Home Dies

NYPD are searching for a group of people they say beat a Bronx father causing him to fall and strike his head. The man was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Philip Roseburgh, 35, fell and struck his head on the pavement after being on the receiving end of a brutal beating in front of his residence. Investigators say they are actively searching for the group of people believed responsible for the death of the father of three.

Roseburgh was found unconscious after he was assaulted in front of his home located on Garden Street, on Tuesday evening, Feb. 20.

Police concluded Roseburgh fell and struck his head on the pavement during the beating. Reports said he was transported to an area hospital where he showed little to no brain activity.  Continue reading

Bronx Manhunt: Amere Bryant, 24, Wanted For Murder Of Shaquana Button

Bronx man, Amere Bryant, is wanted for the murder of Shaquana Button, who was found shot in the face outside a Bronx boutique.

Police on Wednesday identified Bryant, 24, saying he shot and killed Button, 36, outside of Candy & Grocery Shop earlier this week.

Button was found shot at approximately 11:40 p.m. Monday, police said.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

SLEEPOVER HORROR: Bronx Girl 11 Face Doused With BOILING WATER

VIA: An 11-year-old Bronx girl was seriously injured after another girl at a sleepover poured boiling water on her face as she slept.

The image of the young girl’s injured face is so graphic, we decided not to show it here.

The girl’s 12-year-old friend was hosting the sleepover in the Morrisania section of the Bronx. According to friends and family, the host of the sleepover boiled hot water and poured it on the 11-year-old as she was sleeping. The scalding hot water burned the girl’s face, neck, shoulders and chest, leaving her screaming in pain and agony. Continue reading

Spanish Teacher Booted For Calling Student ‘Negro’

A Spanish teacher got her butt fired after being accused of using “racist words in class.” The junior-high school teacher has filed a lawsuit contesting the allegations saying that she was fired from P.S. 211 in the Bronx in March 2012 because of a misunderstanding over the word “negro,” in other words, lost in translation.. Did I mention the teacher is also black?
