What A Rip! Black Eyed Peas Steal Freeland

These days you can’t just take a sample from another song and use it in one of your songs and call it a day, that is so 1998… No, you have to PAY the people who created that sample a royalty, a fee not a free.

In the case of rockers Van Halen, it meant being paid $40,000 for the usage of their sample from “Jamie’s Crying” used in the now rap classic, “Wild Thing” by Tone Loc. That song went on to sell millions. Van Halen had “A CHOICE” to take a cut of the song’s publishing and take nothing up-front; they chose a flat rate for the sample, oops! but at least Halen had a choice.

In the case of Adam Freeland and a sample from his song “Mancry” from his album, “COPE”, Freeland never even got the option to take a flat rate, he never even got a call. Black Eyed Peas just took it, used it and hoped he or anyone else would not notice. Who knows why the Peas did not follow procedure to legally lock in the sample for use in their song “Party All The Time,” from their album “The E.N.D.” because now those questions will have to be answered, you guessed it, in a court of law, sad.

Polo Molina, the man who socked Perez Hilton, might be facing a whole lot of trouble. So far, his fight with Perez was really more headlines than it was legal problems. But now it’s been revealed that Mr. Molina is on probation for a DUI. Yeah, not good. A judge could definitely consider this altercation a violation of his probation and toss him in the slammer for 6 months.

So, for all the huffing and puffing about Perez Hilton, his lawsuit might actually put this guy away for a long while. And he thought Will.I.Am was mad at him before.

Will.i.Am is Gay

Well according to Perez Hilton that is. So I had to update you with the latest news between Perez Hilton and the Black Eyed Peas.

Hilton decided to post a 11:42 video on his official site, which explained the drama that went down Saturday and Sunday night at the MuchMusic awards. According to Perez, it all started when Fergie saw Perez during their music rehearsal. She approached him and asked why he’s so disrespectful to her band on his site and can he lay off. Of course Perez says he’ll try, which means no bitch.

The big drama went down last night between Hilton and Will.i. Am when he followed Perez out of an after party and commanded that Hilton respect him and stop disrespecting his band. What made Will.i.Am upset is when Perez said, “You’re gay. You’re a fuc*ing fag*ot!”

Now why would an open homosexual yell to a heterosexual man that he’s gay? It’s as if Perez used homosexuality as a put down trying to degrade Will, which lead to his manager Polo punching Perez in the face 3 times. I don’t know why Perez is shocked that he was punched after calling a man a fag*ot. I don’t condone violence but eveyone knows that men fight after being disrespected especially when it comes to their manhood.

Perez Hilton assaulted by Will.I.Am?

Earlier tonight, Perez Hilton tweeted that he had been assaulted by Black Eyed Pea’s front man, Will.I.Am. Yeah, I know, weird right?

A little after midnight, Hilton posted this: “I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke.” He later tweeted about his need for assistance, calls to his lawyers and, finally, the arrival of Toronto police.

No other word on the situation. We don’t know if Will.I.Am really did assault him, why the altercation took place or if anyone’s been arrested. This should be interesting.
