Host Tucker Carlson will be replacing Brit Hume at 7 p.m., scoring Greta Van Susteren‘s coveted nightly slot on Fox News. Greta left earlier this year after failing to renew her contract. Carlson will begin broadcasting Nov. 14th.
Carlson, 47, is taking over the 7 p.m. ET time slot that Hume had filled after Van Susteren departed in early September.
A Fox News spokesperson declined comment when asked about the plan for Carlson on Wednesday. But word that the program is close to a done deal is already making its way around Washington circles. Carlson will be the first major talent hire since former Fox News chairman Roger Ailes was forced out of the company over sexual harassment allegations. Continue reading

Stacey Dash has been in the news lately for all the wrong reason after accusing BET of perpetuating segregation during a conversation on Fox & Friends.
Dash, who followed and then unfollowed us on Twitter, (see below,) also weighed in on the controversy over the Oscars lack of diversity hashtag #OscarsSoWhite.
“We have to make up our minds. Either we want to have segregation or integration. If we don’t want segregation, then we need to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the [NAACP] Image Awards, where you’re only awarded if you’re black,” Dash said during the conversation. BET clapped back at Dash on Twitter, pointing out her time on The Game and asking for their money back for all the times she had been featured on their network. But the trolling didn’t stop there. BET Jams went on to post the music video for MJG‘s “That Girl” video, which featured Dash and which came out in 1997. The video was posted to their Twitter along with the hashtag #NeverForget, which basically makes BET the winner for best trolling game in this feud. h/t thegrio
They’ve also played Kanye West’s “All Falls Down” and Rick Ross’ “Super High,” which also feature Dash, and the videos come with hashtags like “#WeStillLoveYou” and “#YoureOneOfUs” and “#EvenIfYouDontWantToBe.”
Clueless star, Stacey Dash, isn’t mincing her words when it comes to doubling down on her call to rid the world of Black History Month.
Now the Fox & Friends commentator is going after BET, in an open letter called “How BET Lies to Black People.”
“My problem goes back to the notion that every area of life needs to break down exactly according to demographic ratios except in those areas in which black people have decided they want to have their own space Continue reading
Fox News, “The Five” host, Bob Beckel, was officially fired Thursday over what a top executive blamed on Beckel’s “personal issues.”
Beckel has been absent from the popular Fox News round table style program for several months to reportedly recover from back surgery, however, the network has now released a statement indicating that Beckel had checked into a rehab facility to receive treatment for a prescription drug addiction.
The addiction appears to have been a factor in Fox’s decision to part ways with Beckel. Bill Shine, the channel’s executive VP of programming, said that patience with Beckel had run out at the channel. Continue reading
